There are a ton of sure-handed receivers that can catch the football, but there is a premium put on those who have the ability to turn that reception into a big play or even a touchdown. Possession receivers have their place in the game, but college coaches look for the guy who is a game-changer by what he does after the reception. Here is a list of those type of players from the Midwest in the class of 2022.

This guy is a master at running tunnel and quick screens. He turns a short reception in to a big play with his speed and acceleration. Luther makes defenders miss in the openfield due to his elusiveness and burst once he has the ball in his hands. Burden gets great separation when running vertical routes. He runs right by press corners and is a physical blocker for his teammates.
