is one of the better young athletes in some of the lower classes that you might not have heard of. He was an absolute monster at wide receiver for OCS last season. This year, he’s helped lead OCS to an undefeated start and has been making plays every single week. However, he also made plenty of plays on the defensive side of the ball, which might be his natural fit. The jump he made from freshman to sophomore season was special. And it looks like he’s back at it this season. He’s coming off arguably his best performance this season. He caught three touchdowns and also had three interceptions on defense. A textbook two-way performance.

. Both players have very similar traits in their games. If you like one, you’ll like the other. Holland Hall has a lot to be excited about this year as they’ve ascended to the top spot in Class 3A. One of their more versatile players this season has been Roush. The rangy receiver and defensive back is a big time playmaker. On defense, he’s a very good tackler in the open field. He has the physical frame you would want in a player with his skill set. It allows Holland Hall to move him around to a variety of spots. However, we like what he can do at the receiver position for now. But it wouldn’t surprise us if he ends up being a defensive prospect.

. Even if Drummond wasn’t lined up at quarterback, Gilkey would still be considered one of the top wide receivers in the state. He’s one of the better receivers and he’ll be at or near the top of every single receiving category by the end of the season. He consistently beats corners in 1 on 1 situations. And even in the moments where he doesn’t, he has the size and athletic ability to make a play over just about anyone. He’s nearly impossible to slow down at the Class A level.

at or near the top of the list. Looking at his game from last year, while most of it was against JV competition, you could see the potential for a breakout season. And Jennings has backed that up and become one of the top threats in this Broken Arrow offense. He has the size and all the physical tools to continue climbing the rankings. As he continues to get more familiar and comfortable on Friday night’s, he’ll continue to climb. Jennings is an absolute home run threat of a receiver that has an incredibly high ceiling. He’s only getting better.

for the top overall spot. It was apparent when Shettron burst onto the scene as a freshman that he would be a big time player. That continued last year as a sophomore where he came up big in some of their biggest games. Shettron will be one of the highest rated receivers to come out of Oklahoma in a decade.
