Jonah Coleman Jonah Coleman 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Lincoln - Stockton | 2022 State CA , Lincoln (Stockton), 5’8” 200 lbs.
Coleman walked away with the RB MVP award from the showcase and it immediately paid dividends scoring his first SEC offer from Tennessee several days later. Great frame for a power 5 RB at 5’8” 200 lbs. with a strong lower half. He moves extremely well for his size showing good burst, break away speed, and lateral quickness. Runs with good balance, leverage, and leg drive allowing him to easily break through arm tackles. The APB is one of the top 2022 backs in the country and is quickly climbing major D1 recruiting boards to add to his list of offers from Arizona State, Oregon State, Fresno State, New Mexico, and San Jose State.
Derek Boyd Derek Boyd 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Oaks Christian | 2022 State CA , Oaks Christian, 6’0” 190 lbs.
The overall offensive MVP of the camp is one of the most versatile athletes in the 2022 class. He has the ability to line up on either side of the ball at the high D1 level. Checks all the boxes when it comes to D1 athleticism, speed, and body control. He’s a complete back with his ability to run, catch, and block. He’s a north/south runner that runs with good pad level and balance. Physical and aggressive in all areas of the game and especially strong at the contact point. Plus vision, instincts, and quickness make him dangerous every time he touches the ball. One of his best attributes is his ability as a receiver, he’s a natural pass catcher and creative route runner. He already holds offers from Boise State and Oregon State and with his well rounded skillset it won’t be long until more offers come through.
Sheldon Canley, Lompoc, 5’10” 155 lbs.
Canley had an extremely strong performance throughout the day both in testing and in positional drills. Set himself apart with his impressive top end speed, acceleration, and change of direction. He’s a smooth athlete with plus short area burst and the ability to make quick lateral cuts without sacrificing any speed. A dynamic and explosive playmaker with the ball I his hands, he has continually shown improvement and is just scratching the surface of his upside and potential. Comes from strong genes with his father being an NFL RB for the 49ers, Jets, and former Baltimore Stallions in the early 90’s. Picked up three offers so far from Nevada, San Jose State, and William & Mary.
Ian Jernagin Ian Jernagin 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Garces Memorial | 2022 State CA , Garces Memorial, 5’10” 190 lbs.
A good all-around back with a strong and athletic frame at 5’10” 190 lbs. He has yet to log a full varsity season after transferring and an injury held him back in 2019 but has already pulled in offers from Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada. He shows quick lateral agility and change of direction to weave through tacklers but also displays good power and leg drive to run through contact. He’s ready to show off that D1 talent and with a big junior season expect his recruiting stock to continue to take off.
Darius Crowther, Christian Brothers, 5’10” 190 lbs.
Crowther is a prospect that is climbing recruiting boards and has performed extremely well at offseason camps/showcases. He’s a natural football player with the versatility to play either side of the ball depending on development. Shows a good combination of speed and strength as a ball carrier. He runs well behind his pads with good balance and leverage. He’s a downhill runner with good vision, instincts, and acceleration through the hole. Colleges will like his ability to run with power between the tackles or avoid defenders in space using his speed/quickness.
