Aidan Fortenberry Aidan Fortenberry 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Clovis West | 2023 State CA , Central (Fresno), 5’11” 190 lbs., 2023
Strong frame that is well built for a sophomore at 5’11” 190 lbs. Looks to have good overall strength especially in his lower half. In positional drills he showed quick feet and good lateral agility with a strong burst out of his cuts. On film, he does most of his damage between the tackles with a downhill running style. He commits to a running lane and accelerates through the hole with confidence and aggressiveness. Played varsity as a freshman in a very strong Central program that went undefeated on their way to a state championship in 2019. He’s an intriguing prospect that has potential to transition well to other positions depending on how he develops.
Zamir Hall, Garces Memorial, 5’6” 186 lbs., 2023
A young power back with a strong and compact frame. He’s naturally a north/south runner using his strong legs and low center of gravity but showed good short area quickness. Flashes that quickness with a smooth lateral cut to avoid a tackler then gets square up the field. Good short yardage back with his ability to attack a line with low pad level and drive his feet. He’s not limited to just short yardage, he shows good speed and quickness to the outside and a strong second gear once he gets into space. Possesses a lot of raw ability with good upside and potential.
Lamar Radcliffe, Sacramento, 6’1” 246 lbs., 2024
Radcliffe walked away with the overall 2024 MVP award. Just a freshman he has incredible size and strength at 6’1 246 lbs. He has impressive natural athleticism for his size with quick feet and plus straight line speed. He worked out with the running backs but with his size and ability he can be an impact player at multiple positions depending on how he develops. Projects as an early on high D1 recruit.
Jerry Mixon, Sacred Heart Cathedral, 6’2” 225 lbs., 2023
The cousin of Bengals running back and bay area native Joe Mixon is a versatile athlete with excellent size and frame at 6’2” 225 lbs. He’s a bruising downhill back that is very difficult to tackle with his combination of strength and quickness. He’s extremely strong and powerful at the POA with the ability to break through multiple tacklers and run over defenders. Good short area agility and burst to make tacklers miss in the open field. Just like the others on this list he has the ability to play multiple positions at the college level depending on how he matures.
