Well, the season has finally started for 80 percent of the state – with only Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties still yet to launch their seasons. What the beginning of the year represents is a chance for several areas of Florida to get some additional exposure.
One of those regions to have several key football players emerge is the area south of Jacksonville into the City and up north and northwest.
As we continue to bring you football players who are jumping on the radar screen, here are five more from that Jacksonville region.

We had spoken early in the summer just how the state of Florida had started to jump into the conversation a one of the best areas in the nation for producing special teams kickers and punters. Here is yet another name to add to that list as he showed recently, stroking the game-winning field goal with four seconds to play in a 3-0 win over nationally-rated Plantation American Heritage.
