College coaches cannot afford to make a mistake when offering a high school kicker a scholarship. Coaches need to make sure these kickers can transition to the collegiate level in terms of the technical skills but also have the mental toughness it takes to be successful at the next level. These five kickers all possess the leg strength, fundamentals, and intangibles to compete and be successful as a college kicking specialist.

What makes this guy special is his ability to Place Kick and Punt which will allow his college to travel with one less specialist since he can be the spare punter if needed. As a two and a half step place kicker he displays good timing and consistency in his approach to the football. He gets instant elevation on his place kicks along with excellent leg strength. His strong leg really shows up on his kickoffs where he consistently puts the ball in the endzone. Cam can also execute the onside kick with perfection including the bunt kick.
