The best thing about high school football is you have a chance to watch athletes perform at their very best.

Using this pandemic as a reference point to what has happened since this all began, athletes were pretty much shut down, and while they tried the best they could to stay in shape, nothing replaces hitting and playing this game for real.

Even for those programs who began earlier than others, they were still finding it tough to get back in that groove.

But as we can plainly see, there have been athletes – in all classes – at all positions, who have gotten out to a quick start and making a lasting impression.

Today, we bring out five football players who have hit the ground running.

2021 - Carnell Davis, WR, Eau Gallie. Coming from New Jersey, here is a 6-2 pass catcher who has already made a lasting impression on the Commodore fans and teammates. Heavily recruited because of all the things he does, recently hauled in five catches for 162 yards, but three of those five catches were for touchdowns.
