A dynamic two-sport athlete with a great frame to build on at 6’2” 215 lbs. Colleges will love his versatility and natural athleticism that can translate well to multiple positions at the next level. He’s a strong and physical wide out that knows how to use his size to his advantage. He has strong, confident hands with plus hand eye coordination and body control to make the tough catches. Love the way he attacks the ball in the air at the high point. He’s explosive after the catch using his strength to break tackles or his speed to elude defenders. Collected an offer from New Mexico but his physical tools will warrant more D1 attention as he progresses.
7. Darien Langley, St. Joseph, 2021, 5’9” 160 lbs.
The speedster out of St. Joseph Santa Maria committed to Army over the summer. Runs a 10.87 100m in track and a sub 4.5 40 time. Using that speed, he’s easily able to create separation and is lethal with the ball in his hands, even with limited space. He shows excellent burst and acceleration out of his cuts, never decelerating to change direction making it extremely tough for DBs to run stride for stride with him. His speed allows him to easily create separation on vertical routes but also displays precise and on time routes at the short/intermediate levels. Had a strong showing at a showcase in Reno, NV where he was named a top performer.
8. Isaiah Howard, Clovis West, 2021, 6’2” 185 lbs.
A long and athletic frame at 6’2” 185 lbs. Colleges will love his catch radius using his long frame to be a big target for his QB. Shows good reliable hands, attacking the ball in the air and rarely letting it get into his body. Tracks and adjusts well to the ball in the air. Smooth in and out of his breaks with a good ability to find space and get open. Shows good ability after the catch getting square and then weaving through tacklers in the open field turning short routes into long gains. Committed to Eastern Washington in May.
9. David Pierro, San Joaquin Memorial, 2021, 5’10” 165 lbs.
Before transferring to San Joaquin Memorial, he had a very productive junior year while at Clovis West accumulating 74 receptions for almost 1,100 and 10 TDs. He’s a savvy athlete that can impact the game in a lot of different ways using his speed and strong instincts. As a WR, he’s one of the best route runners in the Central Valley. He’s crafty in how he creates separation and is easily able to manipulate DBs with his ability to sell his routes and accelerate out of his break. Strong, confident, and consistent hands he shows great concentration and hand eye coordination catching the ball in traffic. He’s a dynamic playmaker with D1 talent and ability.
10. Lebron Jackson, Ridgeview, 2022, 6’2” 180 lbs.
A lot of raw natural ability and talent. He’s an impressive athlete with plus size/length. He shows secure hands at all three depths with excellent body control and concentration to adjust to the ball. He’s a developing route runner but uses a variety of stems and nods in his release to keep DBs guessing. Big time vertical threat with his speed and ability to haul in contested catches. Nevada recently offered him and expect him to pull in more offers if he continues to improve and develop.
