DELANO-- Last season, my "Big Dogs of the Week" column was mainly on Friday nights. With more games scheduled for other days of the week in this less than the expected year of 2020, we get to hand out more of them this season!

We take a look at who played at their best offensively from the game between Willmar and Delano.

Tate Gallus, RB, Delano (2022)

Most of the time, the Tigers depend on Robbie Knight on being their featured back but yesterday was Tate Gallus’s game to shine. Gallus provided the big bursts for Delano and was a kid that even though the Tigers were down big, they just kept playing like they were in it. Gallus had just under 80 yards rushing and was averaging around 10 yards per carry yesterday for Delano. Also added an interception yesterday.

No Tape. Only Lacrosse tape.

Jacob Streed, QB, Willmar (2023)

Streed didn’t get tons of passing attempts on Saturday, but he made the most of it when he did. Streed has a rapid release and can move pretty well outside of the pocket. Not the biggest player as far as measurables, but has some great potential with good touch on
