GA
– (1774 passing yards- 6 Games) Brookwood
Impressively, Dylan Lonergan Dylan Lonergan 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Brookwood | 2023 State GA leads the entire state of Georgia in passing yards, and is only a Sophomore. Recently, he has gained plenty of attention and is receiving even more power 5 offers from big time programs, and rightfully so. Lonergan has already displayed the ability to have elite ball placement, with a smooth and quick release. His fluid throwing mechanics help him to get the ball out cleanly, and on target. With this, he also shows little rise and fall in his shoulders, and keeps them strong and square before delivering passes. This is a very impressive trait to have at such a young age. With this, he also sees the field very well, and makes college level passes. As he continues to develop, we feel he will eventually turn into a 5 star, and that he will clean his choppy footwork up as well. Look for him to be a big time player in the future.
Kyle Moseley- (1,771 passing yards- 7 Games) Georgia Force Christian
Kyle Moseley has put up impressive numbers, and has continued to shine this season. While Moseley may not be the most polished QB due to his raw mechanics, he does show some great flashes of ability. For starters, his ability makes him great for the competition he plays in. He has a quick release, and can drive the football, but at times can be inaccurate. He sees the field decently well, but does not fully have the ability to make high level throws that will get him tons of attention at the next level. As he continues throughout the season, he will continue to put up yards, and put his team in positions to succeed.
Brock Vandagriff Brock Vandagriff 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Prince Avenue Christian School | 2021 State GA – (1,674 passing yards- 6 Games) Prince Avenue
It should come as no surprise that 5 star QB prospect Brock Vandagriff Brock Vandagriff 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Prince Avenue Christian School | 2021 State GA is ranked within the top 5 passing yard leaders within the state. Besides, he is committed to UGA after all. Brock has a high level of arm talent, accuracy, velocity, and touch. He makes certain college level throws, such as back shoulder passes, look effortless, and he consistently shows great ball placement. He also gets good depth on his drop backs, and has a good feel, and vision for the field. He is certainly poised to make the jump to the next level, in which he will be able to compete for a starting position. As he continues to develop, we would like to see him clean up his ability to square his shoulders, and have cleaner footwork. This should certainly help clean his mechanics up, and make him an even better passer of the football.
Sam Horn Sam Horn 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Collins Hill | 2022 State GA – (1,651 passing yards- 7 Games) Collins Hill
Sam Horn Sam Horn 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Collins Hill | 2022 State GA , who’s recruiting is starting to warm up has a high level of talent, and plenty of tools as a passer that set him apart from other players. Horn operates at the QB position with a sense of ease, and is very fluid and clean in his mechanics when throwing the football. While in the pocket, he has a good pocket presence as well. Due to all of this, he is able to make smart throws and place the ball very accurately, while also getting it out of his hands quickly. Horn also displays great arm strength, and the ability to push the ball down field with velocity. One thing we want to see him do is make more college level throws in which high school defenders are almost unable to cover.
Blake Kytle Blake Kytle 5'7" | 150 lbs | QB Mount Vernon Presbyterian School | 2021 GA – (1,649 passing yards- 6 Games) Mount Vernon
When watching film on Blake Kytle Blake Kytle 5'7" | 150 lbs | QB Mount Vernon Presbyterian School | 2021 GA , one can easily see that he is a talented player, but nothing seems to jump off of the screen. First, Kytle has a very quick release, and can drive the football very well. He has great velocity and decent placement, but does not make any college level passes consistently. He is also a bit smaller in frame, and can be seen to be very uncomfortable in the pocket at times. Nevertheless, Kytle definitely shows flashes of being able to play at a smaller school at the next level, and win even more games before getting there. Moving forward into the rest of the season will be interesting to show if he goes on to play at the next level.
