From week seven, there were multiple games with a lot of high scoring action and close contests but these are the players that truly deserve the game ball for their talent they showcased on the field.
1. Ryder Hernandez Ryder Hernandez 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Cedar Park | 2021 TX – Cedar Park High School (Cedar Park, TX)
Cedar Park faced off against its district rival Georgetown and defeated the Eagles 56-24. The Timberwolves have showcased that they are a high-scoring offense throughout the season, proving that they have the talent to go toe to toe with just about anyone and that starts with a quarterback with a rocket arm, senior Ryder Hernandez Ryder Hernandez 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Cedar Park | 2021 TX . In the game against Georgetown, Hernandez threw for 327 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions to boot. His longest scoring throw was a 53-yard bomb to senior wide receiver Jack Hestera.
2. Jack Hestera – Cedar Park High School (Cedar Park, TX)
Speaking of, Hestera also receives a game ball for his performance against Georgetown. Hestera recorded five receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns. He had a monster performance against the Eagles. This has been the second time that Hestera has had a big game for the Timberwolves as he also recorded a 145-yard receiving game against Cedar Ridge.

3. Cade Klubnik Cade Klubnik 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Austin Westlake | 2022 State TX – Westlake High School (Austin, TX)
The Westlake Chaparrals steamrolled Del Valle on the night of Friday, Oct. 9. A large part in that steamrolling was junior quarterback Cade Klubnik Cade Klubnik 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Austin Westlake | 2022 State TX who threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. He finished the night with a quarterback rating of 133.8. He also rushed for 27 yards and scored one rushing touchdown. Although it is technically only week three for Klubnik, and most of the Austin area schools, he has been consistently accurate with no interceptions recorded thus far.

4. Nick Morris – Westlake High School (Austin, TX)
Senior defensive lineman Nick Morris also made waves for the Chaparrals against Del Valle but on the other side of the ball, recording a total of three sacks. Morris has been disruptive totaling five sacks in just two games with stats recorded. Morris has been a growing force to be reckoned with on the Westlake defensive line.
5. Nick Billings – Navarro High School (Geronimo, TX)
The Navarro Panthers smothered Eastside Memorial with an unprecedented 94-0 victory. That victory was in large part due to junior quarterback Nick Billings’ constant scoring. Billings threw for five passing touchdowns in the win but also scored on a 30-yard punt return for a touchdown.
6. Ace Whitehead Ace Whitehead 5'10" | 185 lbs | QB Lampasas | 2021 TX – Lampsas High School (Lampasas, TX)
Lampasas stomped out Taylor 59-0 and the senior quarterback Whitehead was in the center of that as always for the Badgers. Whitehead threw for 209 yards and a total of five passing touchdowns with a rushing touchdown as well to add onto that. Whitehead has thrown for 10 touchdowns for Lampasas as they seek an undefeated season, going 4-0 so far. However, this was Whitehead’s best game, finishing for a season-best so far 171.5 quarterback rating. On top of that, he has had just one interception this season. It is shaping up to be a big season for the Ace.
7. Isaiah Quinton-Jackson – East View High School (Georgetown, TX)
Quarterbacks were not the only ones to ball out and senior running back Isaiah Quinton-Jackson made sure that was the case for East View as they defeated Elgin 42-35. Quinton-Jackson rushed for 152 yards and scored a total of four rushing touchdowns.
8. Lyndon Rangel – Elgin High School (Elgin, TX)
The running game worked best for Elgin as well, even though the Wildcats came out with a loss. Senior running back Lyndon Rangel rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns, just a little shy of Quinton-Jackson’s performance but still kept the Wildcats in the game.
