2021 WR/DB/KR Bryan Hernandez, set for a breakout season, has been offered by NAIA University of Jamestown in North Dakota. Discussions between Hernandez and Jamestown assistant coach Charles Alexander paid off with an offer from the Jimmies on Oct. 19.

“I was pretty excited to see all the hard work in the weight room and on the field finally pay off,” Hernandez told Prep Redzone New Mexico. “It’s always a blessing to receive something like that. First thing I did was thank my coaches and my family. I look forward to going to the next level to continue doing what I love most.”

Hernandez said he is being offered by Jamestown as a defensive back and kick returner. He runs the 40 in a shade over 4.5 seconds, so he’ll bring plenty of speed to the northern plains.

Coronavirus restrictions prevent Hernandez from visiting Jamestown at the moment, but he plans to do so when those restrictions are lifted. He’s also talking with other schools such as Luther College (Decorah, Ia.), Grinnell College (Grinnell, Ia.), DII Southern Nazarene
