Nasir Kemper Commits To North Texas
On Thursday evening, Lawton MacArthur senior standout Nasir Kemper Nasir Kemper 6'2" | WR Lawton MacArthur | 2021 State OK announced his commitment to North Texas. The Mean Green continued their success recruiting Oklahoma and stealing some of the best prospects in Oklahoma. They were the first to offer Kemper back in February and saw the extremely talented potential that he had.

Kemper becomes the 30th prospect in Oklahoma’s 2021 class to commit to a D1 program. He was without a doubt one of the top available prospects in the class. He also joins Pawhuska quarterback Bryce Drummond Bryce Drummond 6'3" | QB Pawhuska | 2021 State OK and Del City defensive tackle Kevin Greene Kevin Greene 6'4" | DL Del City | 2021 State OK as current North Texas commits.
We’re in the middle of updating our prospect rankings for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 classes. This week, we’ve been updating the 2023 class. On Monday, October 19th, we’ll update the 2021 rankings and Kemper will be one of the higher rated offensive weapons. That’s what makes him so valuable and a great land for North Texas.
Kemper can play a variety of positions on the offensive side of the ball and have success at every spot. He’s just as dominant of a running back as he is a wide receiver. Not to mention he can impact the game in special teams as a return specialist. There’s no doubt in our opinion that Kemper flew under the radar because more programs should have been on the talented playmaker from Lawton MacArthur. But hats off to North Texas as they continue to recruit Oklahoma very well.
