VOLGA, SD-- wasn’t physically in Volga for Thursday night’s game, but we watched the game on a Youtube channel from my 40-inch television and caught every play there was on the field.

One of my segments in Minnesota is what I call my "Big Dogs of the Game," in which I dive into the games and the game film into who played at their best in Volga on Thursday night offensively and defensive. Here are the names I locked in as my big dogs of the game! Enjoy.

Mangan was in a lot of plays on Thursday night. Two-way player. I think he would be a solid next level linebacker. He was great at stuffing the lanes tonight inside. A player that has had some Division II interest and is certainly worth a continued look.

Noah McDermott, QB, Elk Point-Jefferson (2023)

McDermott showed his youth as just a young sophomore but also showed blemishes of the future. McDermott throws a pretty decent deep ball with an average touch. He needs some development in his pocket presence as you get a vibe that he’s just waiting for the defense only
