Thomas Myers Thomas Myers LB Moorhead | 2021 State MN , DL, Moorhead (2021)
Myers showed off on Friday how solid of a shedder he was off his blockers. What I liked most about Myers game because he uses a move to get by the blocker very quickly into his motion. Holds one NAIA offer, but I certainly think some Northern Sun offers are coming in the coming month for the Spuds senior captain.
Jamal Dixon, DB, Moorhead (2022)
Dixon showed off a quick twitch on getting to the ball on Friday night. Watching back his film, this is a kid that is a solid tackler that has a perfect frame as just a junior to play at the next level. Would love to see him as more of a lock-up corner than tackling players who already have the football.
Blake Walthall Blake Walthall 6'1" | WR Moorhead | 2021 State MN , WR, Moorhead (2021)
Blake’s get off the ball speed makes him such a weapon in the Spuds receiving core. His footwork, when he turns, was intriguing to watch on Friday night. Walthall has nine offers from plenty of programs in Division II, Division III, and NAIA throughout the Midwest.
Ethan Torgrimson Ethan Torgrimson 6'0" | RB Sartell-St. Stephen | 2021 State MN , RB/LB, Sartell (2021)
There wasn’t a bigger workhorse on both sides of the football on Friday night for Sartell than Ethan Torgrimson Ethan Torgrimson 6'0" | RB Sartell-St. Stephen | 2021 State MN . He gathered up some great defensive plays and was a massive part of the Sabres offense on Friday in the running game. After watching him on Friday, it’s no surprise why Northern Sun programs are recruiting him as a linebacker; he certainly is a tough hitter at that position.
Jack Teiken Jack Teiken 6'4" | 255 lbs | DL Moorhead | 2022 State MN , DL, Moorhead (2022)
Teiken used his shifty feet to cause some problems in the Sabres running game on Friday night in St. Cloud. The physicality level on Jack’s tackles is very high and something to watch in the 2022 class. It’s no surprise to me why this kid is hearing from a handful of Missouri Valley programs right now.
Andrew Ambrosier, DB, Sartell (2021)
Ambrosier played like a captain on Friday in St. Cloud. You will not find much film on this kid, but he was active in the secondary for the Sabres in their game against Moorhead. Ambrosier was active on many tackles despite a losing effort; this kid has a winning one.
Jacqui Fitzpatrick Jacqui Fitzpatrick WR Moorhead | 2021 State MN , DB/WR, Moorhead (2021)
Fitzpatrick plays both sides but looked like a next-level defensive back on Friday night in St. Cloud. Fitzpatrick’s hit stick capabilities sell me on that. Although a solid wide receiver, defensive back should be in his college future. Fitzpatrick tallied off a little from the first two games at wide receiver but definitely made a substantial impact on defense for the Spuds 56-12 win.
Colton Gregersen Colton Gregersen 6'2" | 235 lbs | DL Burnsville | 2022 State MN , LB, Moorhead (2022)
Altepeter is a jack of all trades at linebacker. He can line up in coverage, he can blow up a rushing attack, and he can bulldoze over linemen to get to the quarterback. Altepeter was another one that showed his Division I material on Friday night. This kid has a motor you just need on your roster, and that’s another reason why he’s our #1 ranked linebacker in the class of 2022 in Minnesota.
Max Soeth Max Soeth OL Moorhead | 2021 State MN , OL/DL, Moorhead (2021)
Soeth wasn’t the most liked player from where I was sitting, but I sure liked his game. Soeth is a gritty player and really impressed me at Center. I don’t think there is a more chippy center in the entire state of Minnesota. Just a player that’s going to keep blocking until the whistles have blown.
Trey Feeney Trey Feeney 6'2" | QB Moorhead | 2021 State MN , QB, Moorhead (2021)
I’ve watched Feeney on film quite a bit, but Friday was the first time I could watch him in person. This kid is so poised in the pocket and has such a quick release he was having a field day with Sartell’s secondary with six total touchdowns. Feeney also has the best touch on the ball I have ever seen out of a lefty coming out of Minnesota. North Dakota commit.
Brady Walthall Brady Walthall 6'1" | WR Moorhead | 2021 State MN , WR, Moorhead (2021)
The Game MVP. Walthall had a career game at St. Cloud Tech on Friday night. Brady had some catches on some of the most incredible first downs I have seen in my life, taking the top off the Sabres secondary. This kid is a deep-ball threat, and I believe he will have much more Northern Sun offers to come his way after putting up 240+ yards on five receiving touchdowns. Walthall followed the quote, “Take the ball deep, take the top off the defense,” from the great Randy Moss with his play against Sartell in Week 3.
