Desmond Igbinosun Desmond Igbinosun 6'3" | ATH Union | 2021 State NJ , Union, Sr. – Igbinosun, a Rutgers commit, had a game to remember in No. 10 Union’s 39-15 rout of Eastern in the Farmers’ season opener this past Saturday. He ran for 126 yards on six carries and totaled four touchdowns on the night – on runs of 8, 11, 14 and 86 yards. Diante Wilson also had a strong performance for Union, rushing for 121 yards on 17 carries with two scores. Igbinosun also finished with five receptions for 48 yards. Union’s Elijah White made two interceptions and Terrell Cannon had a pair of sacks. Union takes on Bridgewater-Raritan on the road this Friday night.
Nasir Hill Nasir Hill 6'1" | DB St. Augustine | 2022 State NJ , St. Augustine, Jr. – St. Augustine will be forced to miss its first two games due to a positive COVID-19 test, but Hill, a national recruit, will be a two-way player to watch when No. 9 St. Augustine is allowed to return to action.
Andrew Butler Andrew Butler 6'4" | QB DePaul Catholic | 2021 State NJ , DePaul, Sr. — Butler, a talented senior quarterback at No. 8 DePaul, had a solid opening performance in a 31-0 shutout of Pope John this past Friday night. He completed 15-of-21 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns. He threw a 15-yard TD strike to Edward Conoran, a 52-yard scoring strike to Marshawn Ferguson and an 11-yard TD to Nuccio Lisitano. DePaul will play at Delbarton in a top-20 matchup this Saturday afternoon.
Turner Inge Turner Inge 5'11" | DB Williamstown | 2022 NJ , Williamstown, Jr. – Inge performed well in No. 7 Williamstown’s season-opening victory over Timber Creek on Oct. 3, rushing for 71 yards on 13 carries and a score. He found the end zone on a 3-yard run. Williamstown takes on Kingsway this Friday night.
Casey Larkin Casey Larkin 6'0" | DB Wall | 2021 State NJ , Wall, Sr. – Larkin made his presence known in the backfield for No. 6 Wall in its 55-13 blowout victory over Point Pleasant Boro on Oct. 2. Larkin ran nine times for 155 yards and three scores, finding the end zone on runs of 4, 15 and 46 yards. He was also in on a fumble recovery. Wall takes on Neptune on Friday.
