Some teams have a season, some are still waiting for spring. Although there are a limit of teams continuing their season, they will still put on a show, along with some talented players that play lights out football. Here are the must see players for this weekend.
QB Julian Brown Lutheran North c/o 22. This man put on a show last week, and he’s willing to do it again under the lights. Although Brown threw for 22 yards and one touchdown against Parkway West last weekend, the kid has vision out of this world. He completed 7 out of 11 passes, since Lutheran North is a high running team. The real test will be against long lasting rival, Trinity Catholic.
LB Dorian Stone Dorian Stone 5'9" | 205 lbs | LB Cardinal Rittner | 2021 MO Cardinal Ritter c/o 22. The young linebacker made his mark during the 2019 season, racking up 54 tackles. This year will be Stones’s breakout year. He is a strong tackler that is willing to make plays, and he will pursue to the ball every single time. Stone and the Lions will face off against Francis Howell under the lights, Friday at 7 pm.
DL Tucker Bass Kirkwood High School c/o 21. Kirkwood has a handful of returning players, especially on the defensive side. Bass is one of the reasons that this team is a team that’s dangerous. Last season, he recorded 37 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and three sacks. This year, Bass is looking to go out with a bang and having numerous schools to watch him ball.
QB Ayden Robinson-Wayne Christian Brothers College c/o 22. CBC has a history of breeding the best athletes in the state of Missouri. They added more arsenal to their team. Wayne proved that he is a force to be reckon with on the offensive side. Last week, he threw for 300 yards and four touchdowns. He rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown as well. Wayne is a well rounded quarterback with a nice arm and wheels. He will be tested by defending state champs, De Smet on Saturday.
RB Chris Kreh Marquette High School c/o 21. This guy is a must see under the lights. Karen is a very powerful running back that runs hard. Last week, Kreh ran for 255 yards and putting the whole team on his back by scoring six touchdowns. This is what college coaches are looking for, and they will find Kreh.
