Quetel, one of the more underrated prospects in the state, finished with 161 yards on the ground on 33 carries, with three touchdown runs, and a touchdown reception.
Phillipsburg’s elusive running back scored on runs of 1, 7 and 44 yards, and he also scored on a 44-yard pass from quarterback Matt Garatty, who threw for a score and ran for another.
The Stateliners did damage on defense and relied on the production of Quetel the rest of the way.
Quetel continues to produce behind an offensive line that gives him openings to create. He has rushed for 322 yards and four scores in three games, and has another two TDs on the receiving end.
Phillipsburg is now 3-0. It has outscored Hunterdon Central, Montgomery and Hillsborough by a combined score of 101-40, and the state power has averaged about 34 points per game.
The Stateliners travel to 2-0 Watchung Hills this week. The Warriors have victories over Hillsborough and Hunterdon Central.
