Players Highlighted from Roosevelt:
DT- Lane Ferguson played big on the line, was in the backfield almost every play, lots of tackled for loss.
DE- Cam Jones speed-rusher off the edge, hard to block, good tackler chasing plays down from behind.
DB- Tucker Large great pass-cover corner, locked down receiver and had a pick in the red zone. Good perimeter defender too.
WR/DB- Tyler Feldkamp scored three TD’s (Rec., FG blocked & returned, INT ret.), if that doesn’t tell you how versatile he is, nothing will. He’s got all kinds of speed, hands, tackling ability and a great football sense.
Players Highlighted from Watertown:
QB- Kale Stevenson was very elusive and hard to bring down, definitely a runner more than a thrower, but still does both well, kept the offense moving.
WR/DB- Dawson Schmidt was the primary receiver, has a good set of hands. He played well in the secondary in this game with tackling.
WR- Trevon Rawdon was a good secondary receiver and rusher out of the backfield on speed plays.
WR/DB- Devin Miles had some nice returns to get some good field position.
RB- Macaffery Young was a good rusher, running through tacklers and is also pretty slippery.
