I think Becker is an FBS kid based on his arm strength and ability to extend plays with his legs. He’s got that Johnny Manziel type feel, where just when you think the defense has him, he finds a way to sneak through. He holds 1 FCS offer from Penn, but I think more schools will come into the picture soon.
2. RB: Thomas Hogan, Lafayette Jefferson, SR
Don’t look away, because if you do you may miss this kid. Hogan is a blazer with phenomenal burst; once he sees a hole, he hits it and hits it fast. He’s got the vision to bounce runs to the outside, and good luck trying to run him down once he gets to the corner. He’s already run for 1,162 yards and 18 touchdowns.
3. ATH: Maddix Blackwell Maddix Blackwell 5'10" | 180 lbs | DB Bloomington South | 2021 State IN , Bloomington South, SR
The nice thing about Blackwell is that you can throw him just about anywhere, and he’ll make plays for you. The kid is dynamic with the football in his hands and super slippery. His ability to read the QB and ball skills are what I think make him a great DB at the next level.
4. LB: Romaro Warren, Lawrence North, JR
Warren looks like your prototypical mike linebacker. Currently, He’s playing on the outside and has performed well; he comes to a balance when tackling in space and has a quick trigger to come off the edge. I think he’ll move inside at the next level, but regardless of what position he plays, this kid is an FBS-level talent.
5. TE: Leighton Jones, Brownsburg, SO
A massive prospect who has seen varsity action since his freshman season. Jones is a punishing blocker who can and will burry opposing defenders into the turf. He’s got Division one ability, and I think more schools will come into play following his sophomore season.
6. QB: Nathan McCahill, Cathedral, SR
This guy has a live arm and impressive touch on his deep ball. On-film, he consistently hit his wideouts in stride and was a natural at stepping up in the pocket to make throws over the middle of the field. He’s off to a hot start throwing 18 TD’s to just 3 interceptions. If he can keep those numbers up, watch out.
7. QB: Peyton Horsley, Decatur Central, SR
I love the way Decatur Central uses this kid. He’s a talented runner, and they allow him to run the zone read, and power read to perfection. He throws well on the run and constantly keeps his eyes downfield. No offers to speak of just yet.
8. DL: Mariere Omonode, West Lafayette, JR
This kid is so powerful coming off the ball and is a phenomenal hand fighter. He plays every down like it’s his last with a high motor and consistently chased plays down from the backside. I’m very curious to follow him because it’s possible that college coaches may want him to kick down to a three-technique at the next level.
9. LB: John-Michael Fabini, Bishop Dwenger, SR
I think John’s ideal fit is as a sam linebacker at the next level. He’s done it all for Dwenger, come off the edge and rush the passer, drop into coverage and guard slots, or come up and make tackles in space. Fabini is really twitchy and moves well; he’s been a big playmaker for the Saints all season long.
10. RB: Mark McDonald Mark McDonald 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Columbus East | 2021 State IN , Columbus East, SR
McDonald is put together at 5’11, 200 pounds. He has the pure strength and body type to run between the tackles, but also the top-end speed to get to the outside. He’s not super well known right now, but he’s having himself a big senior year with 17 touchdowns already.
