Only just a sophomore, but Hill has already shown he’s one of the best linebackers prospects in all of Texas regardless of age. He’s got good size at 6’2, 220, tremendous closing speed, and is an absolute menace as a blitzer. When it comes down to it, Hill will be able to choose whichever school he wants to attend. I think Hill is a future five-star prospect and has the ability to be one of the nation’s top linebackers.
WR: Charles King, North Shore, SR
King is a natural at tracking the football in the air and can make you pay in the redzone. He did a little bit of everything for North Shore in 2019, even lining up at tight end if need be. He has deceptive speed and causes a serious mismatch out of the slot when guarded by linebackers. As far as I can tell, he only holds two FBS offers; however, I believe that will change. King is a Power-Five type of talent playing for one of the nation’s top programs; someone is bound to find him.
OL: Bryce Foster, Taylor, SR
Right now, Foster is showing quite a bit of versatility this fall, lining up at the center position, opposed to guard where he’s been stellar the previous seasons. He’s dominated in pulling situations and has shown light feet as a pass protector since his freshman season on varsity. He’s one of the nation’s top uncommitted prospects, and I’m very curious to see where he ends up because this could very well be a day one starter.
RB: Jamari Sirmons, Roosevelt, SR
On-film, you can’t help but notice the pure top-end speed of Sirmons. Jamari recently transferred to Roosevelt, from Westlake high school in Georgia, and he’s already off to a hot start. Safeties struggled to bring him down in the open field, and he routinely gashed defenses for long run after long run. He holds a few Non-Power Five offers, but expect his recruiting to take a big leap after his senior season.
OL: Omar Aigbedion, Katy, SR
Go watch his game film against Seven Lakes, as he was constantly driving defensive linemen off the ball and burying them downfield. His punch has a ton of pop, and you’ll routinely see defender’s heads jolt back once he gets his hands on them. Right now, he holds a bunch of FCS offers, but to me, he’s a Power-Five guard.
QB: Zach Mundell, Martin, SR
One of the most fun prospects in all of Texas to watch on tape. Once he crosses the line of scrimmage, watch out because this kid can take it 80 yards to the house in the blink of an eye. He’s got great touch on his deep ball, is composed against the blitz, and turns into a running back with the ball in his hands. Army got a steal in this kid, and I’m shocked nobody else came in and made a play for him because the talent is certainly there.
