Ethan is a powerful running back with great vision and very underrated speed. He has great vision and is just a great athlete in AA football. He won the Kennedy award last year as the best player in the state and will look to have a similar campaign and be a early candidate for the award. Ethan is committed to Marshall and will be looking to lead his team to a state championship.
Blake Hartman: 5’11 225 Musselman High School 2021 RB
Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/9031359/Blake-Hartman
The Lehigh football commit has had a fantastic career up to this point and should be considered of the the greatest players to come out of the state when it’s all said and done. Blake has great vision, elusiveness and doesn’t go down on first contact. His speed is underrated and he can turn any play into 6 from anywhere on the field. At 220 pounds he can move for a bigger back and should end his senior year in the Kennedy Award conversation.
Naieem Kearney: 5’8 175 Martinsburg High School 2021 RB
Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/7690990/Naieem-Kearney
Naieem currently has multiple division 1 offers and will end his career being one of the most successful athletes in the state. Naieem has great vision, speed and quickness. His balance is next level and he is a home run hit from anywhere on the field for Martinsburg. He’s a smaller back but uses it to his advantage along with his compact frame and agility. Naieem will look to carry the load for a young and inexperienced Martinsburg team and should put up great numbers.
Jaydyn Johnson: 6’2 190 Cabell Midland High School 2021 RB
Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/9646229/Jaydyn-Johnson
Jaydyn is a strong runner and isn’t afraid to run through contact. He has great elusiveness and is often underrated for being so athletic at his size. He’s a violent runner who can run through tackles or evade them as well. He has great speed, quickness and burst when making it past the first level. He runs through arm tackles and fights for extra yards on every carry. He’s had a strong senior campaign playing at midland and should see his recruitment pick up fast and have schools pull the trigger on him as the season continues.
Atticus Goodson: 6’0 220 Independence High School 2022 RB
Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/profile/12311808/Atticus-Goodson
Atticus is having a monster junior campaign. He’s averaging over 300 yards a game rushing and continues to carry his offense. He has great size. speed and is violent when running through the whole and not avoiding contact. He has great balance and fights through arm tackles and finishes runs and can take it the distance for his offense. Look for Atticus to continue to have a big junior campaign and put the state on notice with his play.
