Top Wide Receivers of 6A District 5

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong><em>With the 2020 season starting, I’m spotlighting Wide Receiver prospects from every classification in Florida. Today we look at the 6A District 5 area which is loaded with talent from the Hernando/Orlando area. Big time players and some under the radar prospects are spotlighted below!</em></strong></span> &nbsp; <strong><em>Malachai Cooks- Lecanto</em></strong> <strong><em>6'3 170lbs</em></strong> Cooks is a big-time athlete with prototype size/speed combo, and Lecanto will line him up all over the field to take advantage of his skill-set. He will play wide receiver and then the next play lineup at Wildcat quarterback. He's an outstanding player who plucks the ball and is patient in his route running. He is a big target who's a very good route runner and shows excellent footwork in his breaks to sell his routes. As a receiver he's a classic slot receiver, that shows outstanding quickness, agility, and is lightning fast. He is instinctive and decisive with the ball in his hands. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong><a href="http://www.hudl.com/profile/9833293/CJ-Henry"> http://www.hudl.com/profile/9833293/CJ-Henry</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Hayden Parker- Lecanto</em></strong> <strong><em>6'0 170lbs</em></strong> Parker is a well-rounded receiver who smooth and athletic, he does an outstanding job blocking, he does a good job on his release and gets into his routes quickly, he has soft hands and shows advanced ability to go up and get the ball. <strong><em>Film: </em></strong>https://www.hudl.com/profile/9833226/Hayden-Parker &nbsp; <strong><em>Robbie Sanders- Lake Minneola</em></strong> <strong><em>5'10 180lbs</em></strong> Sanders is an outstanding athlete, he can play multiple positions, is an outstanding kick returner and shows superb straight-line speed. As a receiver he's really good route runner, he has natural ball skills, really good hands, and tracks the ball naturally in the air. He's a big-time player that will be a great addition to any program at the next level. He seems to have natural body control and he shows very good quickness getting off the line of scrimmage. Has natural hands and plucks the ball away from his body. He does a good job finding soft spots in the defense and gets in and out of his breaks quickly. He also does a good job blocking down field.
