Even more new faces burst onto the varsity scene this past Friday with some very strong performances that included both impressive stat lines and examples of the traits they have to develop and offer. Unfortunately, about half didn’t have updated film, so I couldn’t give a quick write up on what I saw. I did still include them though as their performances deserve this recognition and notoriety. Each of these athletes deserve to be watched throughout their high school career. Keep an eye on these rising stars!
David Gauderman David Gauderman 6'2" | 225 lbs | ATH Wittenberg-Birnamwood | 2023 State WI , Sophomore DL- Wittenberg-Birnamwood
Stat Line: N/A
It looks like David made a move to DE this week and if this first week has any insight to his future he could develop into a problem for offensive linemen for the next 3 seasons. David had enough speed at LB, but when he puts his hand in the dirt and flashes that first step quickness and strong hands there aren’t going to be many linemen that can stop that combination. I’m not sure if it is a permanent move, but he looks great at the position following week two. David’s Week Two Highlights
Chase Spellman Chase Spellman 6'4" | 230 lbs | QB Kettle Moraine | 2024 WI , Sophomore QB- Kettle Moraine
Stat Line: 13/18, 156 yards, 2 TD, 13 Carries, 121 Yards, 1 TD
If you want to see some tape that is overflowing with potential here is the player for you. Chase has a ton of talent as a sophomore. He has the consistent accuracy you look for, the arm strength to fit the ball into tight windows, and he is a dual threat. Add in the fact that he is already 6’3″ 205 lbs and you get a special prospect. Chase’s 10/2 Highlights
Caden Weber, Sophomore LB- Regis
Stat Line: 14 Total Tackles
Caden took what he showed us last week and proved that it wasn’t a fluke. On the stat sheet he even outperformed last week’s numbers. He is just starting to get comfortable, and he is already a tackling machine with a nose for the ball. His traits are already starting to show through on the tape too. Caden does a good job of shrugging off blockers and as the technique develops he could be a special LB for Regis. Caden’s Week Two Highlights
Trevor Asher, Sophomore RB/LB- Elmwood/ Plum City

Owen Kinziger, Sophomore RB- Coleman
Stat Line: 20 Carries, 139 Yards, 2 TD
No Hudl film, 26th in rushing yards in the state.
Derek Digman, Sophomore QB- Platteville
Stat Line: 14/25, 222 Yards, 2 TDs
No Hudl film, 14th in passing yards in the state.

Stat Line: 6 Receptions, 101 Yards, 4 Carries, 15 Yards

Keith Williams Keith Williams 6'1" | 230 lbs | LB Catholic Memorial | 2023 WI , Sophomore LB- Catholic Memorial
