Pennsylvania football has kicked off in parts around the state and we are happy to deliver our fifth game balls of the season to players who stepped up to the plate and overachieved.
Kenny Johnson – WR/DB, 6’1″, 180lbs, C/O 2023, York Suburban HS
Stat Line: 6 rec, 123yds, 2 TDs, 2 Ints

We begin with an up and coming 2023 prospect who had a terrific night on both sides of the ball. Kenny Johnson, who brings a lean but athletic build, was a walking highlight against Gettysburg this past weekend. His athleticism was on full display, going UP to catch a 70+ yard bomb and take it to the house, along with an awesome tipped, toe-drag interception later on that game. A couple of traits really stood when watching the film, some that will have us looking into a possible future ranking on our site. One, his ball skills. He can reel in passes outside his body frame and can certainly highpoint the ball and sky to make catches. What was fun to watch was his tracking/locating ability when the ball is in the air on both offense and defense. He’s a natural ball-hawking play-maker, we will want to see the little things improve as he continues to develop.
Andrew Osmun – QB/DB, 6’1″, 185lbs, C/O 2023, Spring Grove HS
Stat Line: 200+ scrimmage yards, 1TD, and 2 Ints

Making our Game Balls piece is rare when you only account for one touchdown, however, Andrew Osmun was all over the field this past weekend against Dallastown HS. Making big tackles from his safety spot, manning up and playing physical to intercept passes, running the read-option offense to a tee, and delivering passes downfield on time and with precision. There isn’t much more you can do on the field. Osmun, another talented all-around 2023 prospect, put all his talents on display and needs to get the recognition deserved. As is the case with any young prospect, a couple more inches of growth and some added weight will go a long way when the recruiting process starts. Osmun looks natural at his defensive back spot, while his play at the quarterback position isn’t to be overlooked, it looks as though Spring Grove prefers to use his athleticism primarily rather than his arm.
Braylan Lovelace Braylan Lovelace 6'1" | 190 lbs | LB Leechburg | 2023 State PA – RB/LB, 6’3″, 182lbs, C/O 2023, Leechburg HS
Stat Line: 17 att, 392 rushing yards, 4 TDs – 1 FF

ANOTHER exciting 2023 prospect who flat-out ran all over Riverview HS’s defense. Putting together touchdown runs of 85, 95, and 57 yards on the night, with most of the yardage being picked up going untouched! This kid’s acceleration and great change of direction ability were on full display, pacing himself behind the line of scrimmage and throughout the run then opening up his stride and absolutely burning the secondary. Even when running lanes were bottled up by Riverview, Lovelace found a way to create yards thanks to his impressive lower body strength that make him difficult to tackle the first time. His height and weight combination is spot on with what you want to see with a D1 prospect this early on. He also produces on the defensive side of the ball, showing his natural instincts blowing up running backs before they even have a chance to hit the hole. Here’s another promising 2023 kid who is sure to make our updated rankings.
Seth Fuller – WR/DB, 6’3″, 193lbs, C/O 2021, North East HS
Stat Line: 8 rec, 91 yds, 2 TDs, 2 KR TDs, (4 total)

Here is a senior prospect who has completely flown under our radar to this moment, but that is about to change. He’s a basketball player on the field and can absolutely fly. Releases off the line really well against off coverage, his stride, and overall gait is a lot for defenders to handle especially with a free release. A deep threat standing at 6’3″ is rare but he’s more than just speed and height. This kid has serious hands and ball skills to match. The special part about Fuller is his open-field vision and acceleration. The acceleration makes sense because of his ridiculous stride, but he’s got running back vision, something you don’t typically see with a player his size. Just watch him return kicks for NEHS and you’ll get a quick understanding of how much potential Fuller has. He needs to refine a ton of technical route running issues as he’s pretty raw in that aspect. You’d like to see him a little further along being a senior currently.
Haden Sierocky – QB/DB, 6’0″, 170lbs, C/O 2023, Ligonier Valley HS
Stat Line: accounted for 200+ scrimmage yards, 5 total TDs, (2 passing, 3 rushing)
Hudl Link – https://www.hudl.com/profile/11700284/Haden-Sierocky
Sierocky had himself a day, scoring five times in a 42-7 win over Waynesburg HS. Sierocky is primarily a runner at the quarterback position, where Ligonier Valley lets him create yards with his feet and distribute the ball effectively if need be. Throwing mechanics and accuracy are shaky as a whole but Sierocky delivered some dimes this past weekend, highlighted by a perfectly thrown fade route in the endzone for one of his five scores. Ligonier Valley is more than capable of winning at the hands and feet of this kid which is the ball is trusted to be in his hands as the primary facilitator of the offense. He shows good burst upfield after the mesh point on read-option runs. His build doesn’t suggest a heavy dose of between the tackles running but he is tough enough to entertain the idea. We will keep our eye on him in the future as again, he is just a sophomore.
