There were tough times for Wildwood during this stretch, but it finally came to an end following a 30-6 victory over Lindenwold on Oct. 18.
Since that 2014 victory over Pleasantville, Wildwood had a pair of 0-10 seasons in 2015 and 2016, 0-8 campaigns in 2017 and 2018, an 0-9 season in 2019 and was 0-2 to start this year prior to Sunday’s result.
Wilwood led 12-6 through three quarters before putting up 18 points in the fourth to run away with Sunday’s game against Lindenwold.
The Warriors’ Ernie Troiano threw a pair of TD passes and ran for a 34-yard score. Wildwood also found momentum from a 52-yard TD run from Miguel Claudio.
Lindenwold’s lone points came on an 84-yard run from Josh Salter.
The Warriors next meet Maple Shade on the road on Friday, Oct. 30.
