Players Highlighted from Winner:
RB/DB- Kaden Keiser was everywhere on the defensive side, made many of the tackles, sometimes coming from the other side of the field. He also had some pop when he made tackles, plays a lot bigger than his frame, has speed and agility.
RB- Riley Orel did a great job picking up good chunks of yardage on each play, did not shy away from contact and always finished the run.
RB/LB- Sam Krueger was good job flowing to the ball and making the tackle on a very hard runner, was a also a good target for the Warriors.
OL- Owen Duffy, Achilles Willuwiet, Preston Norrid, Charlie Pravacek, Layne Moser I might have misread some jersey numbers and they might have rotated lineman but the all of them did a great job opening seams for the backs and keeping the offense moving.
Players Highlighted from McCook Central/Montrose:
WR/DB- Cody Miles was finding the ball pretty well in a tricky opposing offense and making some good tackles. Was also a good target in the pass game.
RB- Jacobi Krause runs the ball hard, breaking many tackles and always falling forward for positive yardage.
OL/LB- Braedon Kerkhove filled gaps well on defense and made a lot of good tackles, some for loss.
WR/DB- Will Cleveland was good in pass coverage and a good tackler in both run-support and in coverage.
