It’s never a bad time to grind some film, and Wisconsin’s high school football players have done a wonderful job of quickly posting their game-by-game Hudl’s in 2020. With two weeks of the season having already passed PrepRedzoneWI wanted to check in on studs from all over the state and breakdown some film to see who is playing well and what there is to like about their game. I tried to watch as many Hudl’s as I could, so get ready for some analysis of 2021s, 2022s, and 2023s and their performances during Week 2 of the 2020 Wisconsin high school football season. Israel Powell (University School of Milwaukee) 5’10, 255 lbs. 2021. vs. Lake Country Lutheran Played both ways against LCL and made his presence known last Friday. He made a couple nice TFLs from his DL position and was a force as a pulling guard as well. He’s well-built and could play DL, IOL, or OT in college. I think he really shines at DL, and has a nice first step and plays low and strong.
