The tight end position has evolved over the past couple of years, from what was considered an "extra" offensive lineman. It has now has evolved to a position that requires a dynamic threat where you can play as an "inline" tight end and also flex out into the slot. Here are 5 under radar athletes at the tight end position in the state of Ohio!

An athletic "flex" tight end that is comfortable working out as a slot wide receiver in his offense and shows the ability to transfer in and out of his routes in open space to create separation from coverage. He is smooth in his route running ability by transferring weight and sinking his hips and being able to find the open seam in the defense. He displays the ability to block well in space does not get overextended, and drives out the defender with good base and balance.
