Rashon Bradford Rashon Bradford 5'9" | ATH Rahway | 2021 State NJ , Rahway: Bradford showcased his elusive cutting ability and speed in a massive 34-27 victory over Watchung Hills on the road on Saturday. He ran for 124 yards and scored on runs of 5, 29 and 69 yards, also catching a 56-yard touchdown pass. Bradford totaled seven tackles on the defensive end, flying to the ball and making some hard hits on the ball carrier. He was a nightmare cover when in the open field, and his initial jump gave Watchung Hills trouble.
Sharrod Tedder, Bound Brook: Tedder made a case for the game ball in Bound Brook’s win over Manville in Week 5. He impacted the game in several ways, scoring on a TD run to go with his 47 rushing yards, catching three TDs and finishing with 123 receiving yards and scoring on one of his two interceptions in the game.
Frankie Savino, Emerson Boro: In a 30-8 victory over Palisades Park, Savino completed 70 percent of his passes, threw for 224 yards and accounted for three touchdowns. He threw for two TDs and ran for another, piling on 90 yards on seven carries. He also made two interceptions on the defensive end. Savino has showed poise and composure in the pocket for Emerson Boro. He has a quick release, he throws a good deep ball and he is capable of rolling out to make plays. He has nine passing TDs to zero interceptions on the season. Savino has rushed for five additional TDs, and he has three picks on defense.
Zach Mendes, Marlboro: Mendes led Marlboro to its first win of the season, as he rushed for 109 yards on 21 carries and also caught a 20-yard TD pass in the victory over Howell.
Jonathan Lartey, Northern Burlington: Lartey got it done in a variety of ways in Northern Burlington’s 38-7 win over Moorestown. He showcased his powerful running ability and speed with 288 rushing yards on 15 carries, finishing with a TD. He recorded tons of pressure on the defensive end, forcing the quarterback into throws and coming off the edge to disrupt timing. He recorded seven tackles, 2.5 sacks, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble.
