#8. Tre’ John Dailey, 6’1” 270 – Vance Co. HS. Displays good quickness and can close in on the ball carrier to stop the play. He will continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. A few Ivy League schools have expressed an interest and offers should start to come in for him.
#9. Zaivion Palmer, 5’10” 185 – Vance Co. HS. He uses quickness to shed the block and make the tackle. He needs to continue to improve his skills and put on size for the upcoming season. The D3 offers should start to come in for him.
#10. Cameron Knockett, 6’0” 255 – West Craven HS. He uses his hands well to move the offensive linemen out of the way to stop the play. He is expected to anchor the defensive line for the upcoming season. A D2 prospect and offers should start to come in for him.
#11. Ian Lipsey, 6’0” 240 – South Granville HS. He displays good hand movement to move the offensive linemen out of the way to stop the play. He gives maximum effort on every play and should continue to improve for the upcoming season. A solid D3 prospect who should start to receive offers.
#12. Miles Jones, 6’1” 240 – Cummings HS. Displays good lateral movement and speed to close quickly on the ball carrier. He plays at a high energy level and should continue to improve during the upcoming season. The D2 offers should start to come in for him.
#13. Tyrese McCleese, 6’2” 235 – John A. Holmes HS. Displays a quick first-step to get by the offensive linemen to stop the play. He runs well and makes stops in the backfield. The expectations are high as he prepares for the upcoming season. The D2 offers should start to come in for him.
#14. Jah’Quell Hendrick, 5’11” 180 – Warren Co. HS. Displays good speed on pass rush plays. He runs well and closes in quickly to stop the play. He should continue to improve put on size as he prepares for the upcoming season. The D3 offers should start to come in for him.
