Several players, including a couple of teammates, ended the season on extremely high notes with impressive film, and eye catching stat lines. Ahead we will list the stats and then take a look at what their film from this week showed us. So for one last time, let’s get into it!
Caden Mulhollon Caden Mulhollon 5'10" | 205 lbs | LB Wilmot Union | 2021 State WI , Senior LB- Wilmot
Stat Line: 21 Total Tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 FF, 1 FR
Caden is a tackling machine. He is around the ball on every play. Every Play. He has only played four games this season, yet he is still top 25 in tackles. It’s impressive. Caden does such a good job of mirroring the backs and flowing to the ball. That and his range allows him to make a ton of tackles at the line of scrimmage from sideline to sideline. He does a great job of running his feet through contact as well to drive the ball carrier back when he tackles them. He is so elusive when it comes to linemen trying to block him. They couldn’t touch him this week. Check him out. Caden’s Final Week Highlights
Drew Trudell Drew Trudell 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Mukwonago | 2022 State WI , Junior DB- Mukwonago
Stat Line: 8 Total Tackles, 2 INTs, 1 Pick Six
Drew should be a target recruit going forward as he enters the offseason before his senior year. You can count on him just as much to come downhill and make a tackle against the run as you can to drop into coverage and make a breakup or force a turnover. On his first interception in his film this week, Drew does a great job of reading the QB and moves right into position to make the play on the ball. Drew has plenty of speed to turn and run with receivers while also being a very reliable tackler making me believe he could be an intriguing safety prospect. Drew’s Final Week Highlights
Ethan Neils Ethan Neils 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Germantown | 2021 State WI , Senior LB- Germantown
Stat Line: 16 Total Tackles, 3 TFLs, 1.5 Sacks
Ethan is one half of what looks like the best LB duo in the state. He finished the season in the top 10 for tackles. He shuts down the inside run week in and week out. This week was no different. Ethan really showed off the lateral agility this week. Several times in this film he slides across nearly the entire box to make a tackle right at the line of scrimmage. He was getting to spots laterally as fast as ball carriers were getting there running. His block shedding showed up quite a bit too. It would look like a lineman would have him squared up and hands on him and he would use that agility and strength to create enough separation to slide right off the block and make the tackle. Check him out. He has been awesome all year. Ethan’s Final Week Highlights
Noah Galindo Noah Galindo 6'3" | 225 lbs | LB Germantown | 2021 State WI , Senior LB- Germantown
Stat Line: 23 Total Tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 FF, 1 FR
Noah is a big and strong LB that is another half of the best LB duo in the state this fall. Noah finished top 5 in total tackles this season. This week’s film showed off his strength and ability to play through blocks. Over and over he would run right through a block attempt without being thrown off course at all to make the tackle. Noah has all the necessary speed to take that size and strength from sideline to sideline to make plays as well. Those tools have led to the most tackles for a career in school history. There is a lot to work with here. Take a look! Noah’s Final Week Highlights
Colby Horn, Junior DL- Hamilton Sussex
Stat Line: 7 Total Tackles, 3 TFLs, 2 Sacks, 1 FF
Colby brings exceptional length to the table at 6’5″ and already has started to fill out well at 220 lbs. In his film this week, Colby also showed that he has the strength to fight through double teams and has the athleticism to chase down plays. He had some nice quickness in his first step this week too. I like the way he fought through a lot of blocks as well to make plays. Colby is definitely a name to know going into this offseason. There is a lot of potential. Colby’s Final Week Highlights
Charlie Weber Charlie Weber 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Lourdes Academy | 2021 State WI , Senior LB- Lourdes Academy
Stat Line: 21 Total Tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 Sack, 1 FF, 1 INT
It’s only fitting that the leading tackler in the state ends the season with another exceptional performance. Charlie has impressive athleticism that allows him to fly from sideline to sideline to make plays. He is also an extremely physical player. It shows up even on offense where he would lead block from the RB position and repeatedly hammer defenders and it carries over his tackling. Weber works well in tight quarters too. His quickness makes it hard to get a hand on him much less make a good block on him. Check out this athlete! Charlie’s Final Week Highlights
Austin Dahlke Austin Dahlke 6'1" | 190 lbs | LB Edgar | 2021 State WI , Senior LB- Edgar
Stat Line: 8 Total Tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 Sack, 1 Pick Six
I watched Austin live this week and he was every bit of the beast that I expected. He has plenty of size and his combination of speed and strength is the best I have seen in the state. He is so versatile too. He can drop into coverage and create turnovers or he can create consistent press with his pass rush off the edge or his blitzing up the middle. Against the run, he does a great job of getting through the trash around him to make plays and he is one of the hardest people to stick a block on in the state. Austin is a beast and he proved it again this week. Austin’s Final Week Highlights
