As we enter Thanksgiving week, there are still some games to look forward to before the official end of the season. Some teams will not play a Thanksgiving Day game or any this weekend. Here are some Friday night games that will take place.
Irvington at Clifton
Mikai Gbayor Mikai Gbayor 6'2" | LB Irvington | 2021 State NJ will lead Irvington into their final game of the season against Clifton. He is one of the best defenders in the state and has totaled 53 tackles and eight sacks this season. Gbayor will look to shutdown Jacob Maldonado and Kyle Vellis for Clifton. This quarterback-running back duo has been one of the top in the state during the season.
Parsippany at Caldwell
Caldwell is led by two sensational sophomore, one on each side of the ball. First, Harry Boland leads a defense that has three shutout victories this season. He has 117 tackles which is one of the highest numbers in the state. Quarterback Luke Kurzum has stepped into a leadership role and led the offense perfectly this season. They will look to cap off a strong campaign with a win over Parsippany.
Nottingham at Willingboro
Nottingham has not played a game in three weeks but they come in with a 3-1 record and will take on one of the state’s best quarterbacks. Ah-Shun Davis has been dynamic for Willingboro this season and has them playing well down the stretch. This will be a must watch game to see how each team attempts to construct a game plan against the other.
Lakewood at Pemberton
Both Pemberton and Lakewood have not had the best years but they are both coming off a win in their last contest. One team will end on a two-game winning streak which is a positive way to look at their 2020 campaign.
