Rising quarterback prospect Teagon Kasperbauer was again excellent under center. Kasperbauer completed an efficient 11 of 18 for 175 yards with touchdown passes to deep threat Aidan Hall and Joey Moser.
Kasperbauer continues to show incredible poise and precision for an ever-improving signal-caller. He has complete command of the offense and spread his 11 completions out to five different receivers.
Hall was the big-play threat he has grown to become, catching a 65-yard pass and finishing with 107 yards on five receptions.
Mason Griffith provided some hard-earned yards in the ground game, carrying the ball 13 times for 77 yards including a touchdown. He averaged nearly six yards per carry for Harlan, which remains undefeated heading into the championship round.
The Cyclone defense did not allow another point to be scored after Kody Noble punched in a TD from six yards out with just over four minutes to go in the first quarter.
On that drive, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley ran 14 plays for 72 yards. They finished the game with 143 yards of total offense. Noble had 124 of those on the ground and also added a 9-yard reception.
Harlan’s defense picked off two passes, returning both for scores courtesy Brenden Bartley and Hall as part of a 44-0 run. Ashton Lyon also kicked through a 20-yard field goal and Stephen Leinen had two touchbacks.
