QB/DE- Kellan Johnson scored the only Arrow TD on the ground, then completed a pass for the 2-point conversion. On a cold night, he ran the ball really well, ran over tacklers to gain more yards. Defensively, played fundamentally well, made the sure tackle and ran plays down from behind as well.
WR/RB/DB- Maddox Biever had a good offensive game, ran the ball well and made some nice catch-and-runs for some yardage. Defensively flowed well and was in position to make plays.
RB/LB- Joe Kooiman ran the ball hard for some well-fought yards. Defensively was usually the first to the ball carrier and made a great amount of tackles.
LB- Cole Paulson made a lot of tackles, many for loss and a sack, was reading and filling gaps extremely well.
C/DT- Adam Femrite opened up the middle of the defense with some big blocks. Defensively, plugged up the gaps and made it difficult to gain yards.
Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial scored on the very first snap of the game. While the had a steady game gaining yards, turnovers and a missed FG proved to be the difference in the game. Players that stood out for the Knights were:
RB/LB- Camden Ludeman ran the ball hard and had some breakaway speed in the open field. Defensively put himself on position to lead the team in tackles, very physical player being around the ball on every play offensively and defensively.
DB- Brendan Jones was also flying around the field and made a lot of tackles, was great at making tackles in the open field.
OL/DL- Levi Lantz shed blocks real quick and made it difficult to run the ball, making tackles for loss or short gains. Offensively was part of leading a sturdy running attack.
Offensive Line- along with Lantz, Hunter McManemy, Gage McManemy, Jacob Tesch, &TJ Stewig all led a stellar run game, gaining positive yards almost every play.
