The uncertainty continued through the summer and near the fall. Prior to the football season, a plan came out of putting together a six-game schedule followed by a two-week postseason schedule and Thanksgiving games. Now that all games have been completed, it is time to marvel at just how lucky we were to see football back under lights on Friday nights.
The Class of 2021 was able to get their final seasons in and solidify their reputations as prospects. For some, the commits came early.

Michigan State landed the top running back and offensive lineman in New Jersey, both from St. Joe’s Montvale. The fact that we got to see these tremendous players one final time is a testament to the job done by the NJSIAA to get the schedule done and teams on the field. There were some shutdowns and postponements. There were not traditionally state tournaments and rings will not be handed out.
Even with all the uncertainty, this was one of the most successful seasons we have seen. Now, we set sites on 2021.
