Players like Chris Gragg, Jeremy Sprinkle, DJ Williams, and Hunter Henry have all seen NFL action on Sundays. The 2021 group has several talented players with the potential to see action on Saturdays in major college football.
Erin Outley Erin Outley 6'4" | 245 lbs | TE Parkview | 2021 State AR – Little Rock Parkview
Outley has already committed to Arkansas and is looking to build on an impressive high school career. Outley is one of those tight ends that can block just as effectively as he can catch the ball. Outley has chosen the Hogs over Michigan, Florida State, LSU, and numerous other schools. He committed to Arkansas back in July of this year and has held his commitment to the Razorbacks. As of this writing, Little Rock Parkview is still in the state playoffs, so Outley still has an opportunity to display a little magic before his high school career comes to an end.
Errington McRae Errington McRae 6'3" | 235 lbs | TE Har-Ber | 2021 State AR – Har-Ber
One of the most talented players in the state is Errington McRae Errington McRae 6'3" | 235 lbs | TE Har-Ber | 2021 State AR . His senior season ended a little early because of an injury but he did enough as a sophomore and junior to earn a scholarship to Memphis. What sets McRae apart from other players is that he is incredibly versatile. Teams can line McRae on the line and have him block or they can split him out wide and allow him to use his speed and hands to get open. Errington will rarely drop passes and he will not be brought on the first contact. McRae will be a solid addition to a talented Memphis Tigers team next season, and he will have a shot to earn some playing time as a freshman.
Mason Brotherton Mason Brotherton 6'4" | 235 lbs | TE Mena | 2021 State AR – Mena
The Mena tight end has been one of the better kept secrets in Arkansas over the past few years. Brotherton is a tight end that will not drop passes. He makes a difficult reception look easy and has impressive speed for the position. Brotherton causes problems with the defensive pass coverage because linebackers can not stay with him and safeties rarely have the size needed to cover him. Brotherton is an unselfish player and is a willing blocker for his teammates. The University of Kansas identified him as a player that they wanted, and he committed to the Jayhawks in April. I would not be shocked to see Brotherton earn some playing time next season, as the Jayhawks look to compete in the Big 12.
Cameron Raggio Cameron Raggio 6'5" | 245 lbs | TE Magazine | 2021 State AR – Magazine
Logan county has two teams that year in year out compete for the state playoffs. Booneville and Magazine each have become powerhouses in the state of Arkansas and have sent a number of young men to play on Saturday. One player that continued to impress me the more film I saw on him was tight end Cameron Raggio Cameron Raggio 6'5" | 245 lbs | TE Magazine | 2021 State AR . Raggio is an impressive blocker and does not shy away from contact. Cameron is a two-way player, so he plays with a mean streak that serves him well when blocking. Raggio is a player that will earn a scholarship playing on Saturdays, he simply has too much potential from several positions to go unnoticed.
Hayden Schrader Hayden Schrader 6'2" | 205 lbs | TE Bryant | 2021 State AR – Bryant
Bryant has become the state powerhouse in the biggest conference in Arkansas the 7-A. Schrader has the size to play the wide receiver or the tight end position and Bryant uses him in that fashion. Schrader has excellent speed for the tight end position and is very precise when it comes to running his routes. He is a willing blocker for his teammates and does not mind blocking to spring his teammate open. When you turn on tape watch Bryant, Schrader is always on the screen. He will be playing on Saturdays, the only thing to be determined is where.
