A massive number of great games are in store for scouts and coaches to lay eyes on. We will open with analysis on three key games while listing other top games of the week below. A pivotal week nine looks to be a good one!
New Oxford (5-1) @ Warwick (7-0)
Warwick has been unsurprisingly dominant thus far and looks to continue its dominance against New Oxford in the District 3 Class 5A tournament this weekend. Joey McCracken has had himself a year accounting for four touchdowns in each of his last 2 games and leading this Warwick team to an undefeated 7-0 record. McCracken has also joined the 5k passing club at Warwick, he is the only member. Colton Miller, Warwick’s 6’3″ running back has also teared up defenses running behind that terrific offensive line. Miller, who also gives reps at outside linebacker, ran for 234 yards and 5 touchdowns this past month. An absolute force is Miller when running downhill. Warwick will look to continue churning out points against New Oxford, that may not prove to be difficult with Wisconsin-commit Nolan Rucci Nolan Rucci 6'8" | 270 lbs | OL Warwick | 2021 State PA helping this offense produce.
Mechanicsburg (6-0) @ Governor Mifflin (6-0)
A battle of two undefeated teams. Quarterback Micah Brubaker has been on a tear this season in hopes of leading his team to the playoffs. Brubaker, who was part of our Game Ball piece this past month, has thrown for 1k+ yards and has coupled that with 300+ yards on the ground. A true dual-threat quarterback who started the year unranked on our site. Mechanicsburg defense will have to put up with Governor Mifflin’s all-time leading rusher in 2022 star prospect Nicholas Singleton Nicholas Singleton 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Governor Mifflin Senior | 2022 State PA . One of the more athletic running backs Pennsylvania has to offer, Singleton will lead the charge along with quarterback Kolbie Reeser, who is also more than capable of doing damage with his legs.
Conrad Weiser (6-0) @ Lampeter-Strasburg (7-0)
Lampeter-Strasburg is going to hit you on the ground with senior running backs Alex Knapp and Drew Harris. A ton of production out of both these kids and watching their combination of speed and athleticism shows they will be a lot to handle for Conrad Weiser. LS’s stud prospect behind center, Sean McTaggart Sean McTaggart 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Lampeter-Strasburg | 2021 PA , has totaled 15+ touchdowns thus far as if their run game wasn’t enough. Conrad Weiser has a talented kid under center as well. Logan Klitsch, a 6’2″, 180-pound junior prospect has turned some heads with his arms and legs. There’s a reason this team is undefeated, and Klitsch has got a lot to do with that.
