These prospects stood out and, in my eyes, deserve much more attention on the recruiting trail. The highlight tape linked below their name may be either their junior or senior tape, as some may not have finished their senior highlights just yet. As always, if you have someone’s film you’d like for me to take a look at, please shoot me a DM with the hudl link to @jlemming18.
Blake Austin Blake Austin 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR New Palestine | 2021 State IN , 6’2, 195, New Palestine, IN
An absolute burner with great burst off the football. Austin has the speed to run away from cornerbacks on vertical routes and can run under the deep ball. He’s also a crafty route runner who knows how to set up defensive backs on double moves. He’s a natural hands catcher and does a good job of plucking the ball away from his body. Austin had a stellar senior season with plenty of production for New Palestine, and I’d expect for him to receive more recruiting attention over the next few months based on his overall body of work.

Jalyn Witcher, 5’10, 175, Pulaski Academy, AR
Pulaski Academy year in and year produces Division I talent, and 2020 is no different. Witcher is a smaller but shifter wide receiver who does his best work from the slot. He has the acceleration and speed to take a bubble 60 yards to the house in an instant. He’s extremely quick off press and understands the importance of stacking a defender immediately after. Despite being mainly a slot receiver, Jalyn has experience splitting out at x and can run the go route better than polished veterans. With the mixture of his ability, good competition, and coming from a powerhouse program, I really don’t know why he’s not on many school’s radars.

Ethan Stinnett, 6’, 165, Gatlinburg-Pittman, TN
One of Stinnets best qualities has to be his ability to win 1 on 1 matchups in the red zone. This kid thrashed defenses down there as a junior and caught touchdown after touchdown. This year he’s shown the ability to take the top off a defense and has shown good build-up speed. He can make you pay you after the catch and is tough to bring down in the open field. Stinnett has great body control on film and can make awkward contested catches downfield.

Noah Kjar, 6’, 180, Corner Canyon, UT
OFFERS: Weber State, Mount Marty,
How about the regular season stats of this kid? This fall, Noah has put up 1,661 yards receiving and 20 TD’s. Honestly, that’s better than most kid’s career stats! Noah is one of those kids who just finds ways to get open. He’s nifty with the ball in hands and can run through arm tackles almost effortlessly. He’s a natural at tracking the ball in the air and isn’t afraid to take a shot from a safety. He’s smooth at the top of his route and shows impressive cutting ability. Based on what he’s done this year, I could certainly see an FBS school coming in with a late offer.
Reis Stockdale, 5’11, 170, Little Miami, OH
On film, this young man shows good top-end speed that he uses to outrun defender’s angles. He has incredible balance that plays into his ability to break tackles and keep a play alive. His vision is one of the more underrated aspects of his game, as he consistently will find cutback lanes against the defense. The kid can lineup pretty much anywhere and will somehow find a way to make an impact. Right now, his recruiting is starting to heat up a little bit, and I fully expect more offers to be coming.

Wallace Stovall Wallace Stovall 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR Avon | 2021 State IN Jr., 6’, 170, Avon, IN
OFFERS: None
Easily the most lightly recruited player on this list, and a big part of that was due to Stovall only playing in 3 games last fall. However, if you turn on the tape from this season, you’re bound to be impressed. On film, you’ll see a major playmaker at both wide receiver and defensive back. He lists his 40-yard dash at 4.65, but I think he plays much faster than that. He’s impressive at the top of his route and can plant & accelerate with ease. He’s at his best in chaotic situations when the play breakdown and seems to always find a way behind the defense.
Cooper Kelley, 6’3, 175, Spain Park, AL
A long strider that has deceptive speed and is a strong runner after the catch. He’s a nasty high effort blocker that takes pride in burying guys on the defensive side of the ball. Kelley understands coverages and when to shut down certain routes. He has a big catch radius, and it was not uncommon to see him make acrobatic snags after running by a defensive back. To me, he’s probably the best all-around wideout on this list, putting together size speed, speed, and overall ability. Someone needs to step in and snag this guy’s commitment because the ability is there.
