Northern Arizona is the most under recruited region in Arizona. In the past, players have been in the top ten in specific categories and don’t get the attention they deserve. These small town Northern Arizona schools are tough, gritty, old school iron man football from head to toe, and the talent for the college level is there. OPOY Zachary Bennett Zachary Bennett 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Coconino | 2021 State AZ , RB, Coconino HS (C/O 2021): Bennett is solid athlete and an absolute workhorse that can excel in multiple schemes. He finished #2 in all of 4A in rushing yards and is a big play threat. He holds numerous NAIA-D2 offers and holds a very high ceiling.
QB PJ London PJ London 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Blue Ridge | 2021 State AZ , Blue Ridge HS (C/O 2021): London established himself as one of the top gunslingers in the state. His recruitment is open and is getting D2-FCS attention as he holds an offer from Northern Arizona University.
QB Caden Cantrell, Snowflake HS (C/O 2022): Cantrell led Snowflake to a state championship win and has developed nicely in his first year starting on varsity.
QB Morgan Bewley, Flagstaff HS (C/O 2021): Bewley did a great job of extending plays and proved to be a solid athlete behind center.
RB Isaac Stopke, Lake Havasu HS (C/O 2023): Stopke exploded as a sophomore and had numerous long TD runs. He’s just getting started, as he holds a very high ceiling with big play ability.
RB Luis Jaramillo Luis Jaramillo 6'0" | 210 lbs | RB Flagstaff | 2021 State AZ , Flagstaff HS (C/O 2021): Jaramillo carried the load for the Flagstaff offense showed an explosive north-south style and was a difficult ball carrier to bring down. He has been getting D2 attention and his recruitment is still open.
RB Nate Wright, Prescott HS (C/O 2021): Wright was an all out workhorse and iron man for Prescott. He plays with a high motor and shows good physicality, balance, and second level speed, making him a solid all-purpose back.
RB Terren Green, Snowflake HS (C/O 2021): Green was a TD machine for Snowflake and is a bruiser to bring down. He’s a powerful, downhill back that finished runs and can bounce off tacklers in the box to spring free.
WR Kamren Loftin, Chino Valley HS (C/O 2021): Loftin was one of the top receivers in all of 3A. He showed a good leaping ability and body control and did a great job adjusting to make athletic catches.
WR Moises Hernandez, Bradshaw Mountain HS (C/O 2022): Hernandez was Bradshaw’s WR1 and led the team in receptions and yards. He does a great job of creating separation and is developing nicely as a route runner.
WR Kameron Toms, Lee Williams HS (C/O 2021): Toms is a long, lanky receiver with long strides that helps him get over the top of opponents. He did a solid job high pointing the ball and securing the catch throughout the year.
TE/WR Noah Baum, Snowflake HS (C/O 2022): Baum was a clutch target all year for Snowflake. He led the team in receptions and did a good job of winning contested throws and showed big ply ability.
OL Dimitri Muncy, Blue Ridge HS (C/O 2022): Muncy is an aggressive player with good punch and hand placement and showed to be a balanced blocker overall.
OL Soto Sellis, Payson HS (C/O 2021): Sellis displays a good initial get off and did an impressive job getting solid leverage on his opponents racking up a number of pancakes and paving lanes for the Payson ball carriers.
OL Brandon Shirley, Flagstaff HS (C/O 2021): Shirley might be the most well-rounded lineman in Northern Arizona. He shows excellent physicality, good step left and right, and did a tremendous job in pass protection getting out and gaining leverage on quick pass rushers to form a solid pocket. He has received D3 and JUCO offers.
OL Vincent Oldfield, Prescott HS (C/O 2021): Oldfield showed a good punch with violent hands with solid power all around. He’s a transitions weight room strength to field and was a solid LT this season for Prescott.
OL Carter Solomon, Snowflake HS (C/O 2021): Solomon showed a solid anchor and did a good job all year of drive blocking once he was locked on to control his opponents and open up lanes.
AP Zach Hammett Zach Hammett 5'8" | 185 lbs | RB River Valley | 2022 State AZ , River Valley HS (C/O 2022): Hammett was one of the most dominant players in 3A. He showed the ability to be a game changer on he ground, through the air, and as a return specialist. He is a very talented athlete all around, and has seen interest from NAIA and JUCO programs, and should be one of the most recruited D3-NAIA prospects in 3A, with a strong potential for D2 interest going forward.
AP Manuel Cardoza, Coconino HS (C/O 2021): Cardoza made big plays on the ground and through the air for Coconino, while also returning some kicks. He has deceiving speed as he can stretch the field as a receiver, yet he was also effective between the tackles as a ball carrier. Cardoza is a very versatile player all around.
