1. Williamstown (7-2)
Williamstown dropped two games this season but they were still the top team in Group 5. Keon Sabb Keon Sabb 6'2" | ATH IMG Academy | 2022 FL is the top player in the Class of 2022 and has gained national attention. He led Williamstown in receiving and was one of their top defenders as well. Turner Inge Turner Inge 5'11" | DB Williamstown | 2022 NJ steadied the offense in the backfield with 545 yards and nine touchdowns.
2. Lenape (5-2)
After a 5-0 start, Lenape dropped it’s final two games to powerhouse teams Holy Spirit and St. Augustine. Brady Long and Xavier Coleman Xavier Coleman 5'10" | RB Lenape | 2021 State NJ had quite a connection through the air to lead the offense. Luke Cole Luke Cole 5'11" | LB Lenape | 2021 State NJ was a difference-maker in the center of the defense, finishing with 87 tackles and a forced fumble.
3. Cherokee (5-2)
Sophomore Brandon Boria burst onto the scene as an elite runner in Group 5. He will have two years left to build his reputation further. Boria finished with 102 carries for 874 yards and 10 touchdowns. Cherokee is another team that finished with two straight losses after winning their first five games. They will head into the 2021 season as a contender.
4. West Orange (6-1)
After a season-opening loss to St. Peter’s Prep, West Orange won their final six games of the season. Mason Murdock took over duties under center and did it without turning the ball over. This was the key to a successful season for West Orange.
5. North Brunswick (7-1)
Frankie Garbolino burst onto the scene this season with 1,669 passing yards and 17 touchdowns. He will return next season along with his two 400+ yard receivers, Jayden Myers Jayden Myers 5'9" | DB North Brunswick | 2022 NJ and Marquis Perry. This will keep their offense at a high-level and their team near the top of the group.
