These 5 players from the class of 2023 should be circling on college radars and should start receiving more attention after having a great sophomore season.

Trey had a monster sophomore campaign that landed him in the Kennedy award conversation for being the best player in the state. He’s one of the best quarterbacks in the state and made a huge jump from his play from his freshman year to his sophomore year. He’s completely in control of the offense and should be in the Kennedy conversation for the rest of his high school career with his ability to extend plays and throw with great accuracy in and outside of the pocket.

Mondrell made a big jump as well for South Charleston this fall. He showed that he’s capable of handling the load with rushing the ball and fought for extra yards and was a physical back. He’s already picked up a few FBS offers and will look to continue to have them come in with his play getting better each year. He shows great balance and underrated
