No. 11 Tyler Bowden Tyler Bowden 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Tonganoxie | 2021 State KS – Tonganoxie, 5’9”, 175, RB
The leading rusher in the state committed to play at Washburn next fall. Bowden had a monster senior season after transferring to Tonganoxie this past fall. His play boosted his ranking by 24 spots. This young man could compete for playing time his first year on campus for the Ichabods.
No. 16 Luke Zegunis Luke Zegunis 6'0" | 255 lbs | OL Olathe West | 2021 State KS – Olathe West, 6’0”, 255, G/C
The 6A All-State offensive linemen is heading across state lines to play for Northwest Missouri State. Luke’s combination of strength and his wrestling background make him a physical blocker in the trenches. His versatility on the offensive-line could lead to some early play time his freshmen year.
No. 26 Jonah Ruder Jonah Ruder 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Norton County | 2021 State KS – Norton County. 6’1”, 190, ATH
Ruder was like a Swiss Army Knife for the Blue Jays this season. He was moved all over the place and amassed over 1,200 all-purpose yards and scored nine total touchdowns. His versatility and athleticism caught the eye of Fort Hays State University, which is where he will be attending in 2021.
No. 28 Peter Dannevik – Lawrence, 6’3”, 260, C
Dannevik will be teaming up with Ruder next fall, as he has also committed to Fort Hays. The 6A All-State linemen jumped 43 spots in the rankings with his play this season. Fort Hays is adding a very solid center to their offensive-line.
No. 29 Cole Rues Cole Rues 6'5" | 240 lbs | OL Shawnee Mission South | 2021 State KS – Shawnee Mission South, 6’5”, 240, OT
Rues is another offensive-linemen that has committed to Northwest Missouri State. His athleticism and footwork jump out on film. He’s good about getting up-field in the run game, and he contains the edge well in the passing game. He is another nice piece to the Bearcat’s offensive-line.
No. 30 Rhett Brown Rhett Brown 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Goddard | 2021 State KS – Goddard, 6’2”, 285, OL
Tyler Bowden Tyler Bowden 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Tonganoxie | 2021 State KS will be happy to know that he’ll have Brown blocking for him at Washburn. Brown earned 5A All-State honors for his performance this season. He is physical in the run game and has the athleticism to pull on misdirection plays. He jumps 32 spots from his previous ranking.
No. 33 Logan Bolinger Logan Bolinger 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL Maize South | 2021 State KS – Maize South, 6’5”. 290, OT
Bolinger is another addition to the Fort Hays offensive-line. He is a mountain at tackle. Once he engages with a defender coming off the edge; it’s difficult for them to get around him. He was recognized for his play this season by being named AV-CTL DI 2nd Team Offensive-Line.
No. 44 Kannon Keller Kannon Keller 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB St. Mary's Colgan | 2021 State KS – St. Mary’s-Colgan, 6’2”, 230, LB
This hard-hitting linebacker has chosen to stay in Pittsburgh, Ks and attend Pitt State University. Keller picked up CNC All League 2nd Team honors for his play this season. His ability to play multiple positions on defense could lead to early playing time for the future Gorilla.
