With all of these players committing as juniors, hopefully an opportunity for a senior year will make their future universities feel more secure about their new future players.
Brock Bowers Brock Bowers 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Napa | 2021 State CA – 6’4, 220 lbs – Napa – Senior

The Georgia Bulldog commit has already placed his name among the top tight ends in the state and country. With already an excellent frame for a tight end, Bowers had 1,098 yards on 39 catches with an outstanding 28.2 yards per catch average. He is more of a receiving tight end than a blocker, and he possesses the skill set to be a mismatch on linebackers and can be a vertical threat with his great speed. Bowers has the agility and wiggle to him to really excel for a receiving tight end. He also brings with him great hands, good burst, and creativity on route running using head movement to manipulate defenders for separation. For a tight end, Bowers has solid body control and is a threat to make plays after the catch with good open field vision. His flexibility to play running back for Napa can allow him to be used in parts of an offense instead of a traditional tight end role. A guy who runs a 4.5 40 yard dash, has all the tools to have success on Saturdays and maybe even on Sundays at some point.
JP Murphy JP Murphy 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE San Ramon Valley | 2021 State CA – 6’4, 240 lbs – San Ramon Valley – Senior

Already committing to San Diego State, JP Murphy JP Murphy 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE San Ramon Valley | 2021 State CA brings a tall and well rounded tight end to the Aztecs football program. Hauling in 8 scores a season ago, Murphy established himself as a big body that can extend himself to make difficult catches look easy. He can high point the ball really good and shows confidence in his hands by not allowing the ball to get into his body. His frame can be greatly used in the redzone for a mismatch against smaller DBs and linebackers. As a blocker, his hand and hat placement are excellent along with his back form and leg drive. He is not the most shiftiest of players at his position but can run good routes and is an overall 2 way stud at tight end.
Jermaine Terry Jermaine Terry 6'4" | 245 lbs | TE Kennedy - Richmond | 2021 State CA II – 6’4, 250 lbs – Kennedy – Senior

On tape, Terry II immediately jumped off my screen and stood out every play. He has the measurables and ability to be a prototypical height, weight, speed player. Putting up numbers that don’t turn heads, his junior season statistics should not reflect who Terry II is. Already committing to Cal, scouts have taken notice of how much he can make an impact on the offense. A good form of a blocker who is not afraid to get physical can help add an aspect of himself to the run game. His freakish ability and size will help Bill Musgrave going into his second season as Cal’s new offensive coordinator. He is a bit raw for who he is but there is no doubt, Terry II will have success on his further player progression. Having experience with playing in the slot, he can be spread out around the field and take advantage of mismatches. His ability to extend his body, frame the ball, and high point can allow him to be a big target in the middle of the field and an outside threat in jump ball situations. Terry II does snap his head back to the ball quickly and can change direction off breaks well. I can see him making an impact at Cal right away after his senior season for Kennedy High.
