The recent camp took place on December 12, 2020, at the Sylvania Tamo. Here are the top three performers from the 4th & Goal camp.
Dylan Fisher – Central Catholic – 2022
6’2 250lbs
DL
Fisher came to camp with a great attitude and ready to compete. The athletic Defensive lineman showed off his footwork and lateral quickness in multiple drills. When it comes to ball skills, he has those too. Dylan displayed his ability to catch a football like a TE/HB along with running decent routes. Now watch his film, and you will see that the potential to become a D1 defensive player could be in his future. Lastly, Fisher lined up as a linebacker and was able to show off his speed and coverage skills during the one v one session. Fisher looks the part of a future all-state linemen.
Isaiah Foster – Lima Senior – 2022
6’1 182lbs
DB
Foster has been coming to 4th and Goal camps since he was in Jr high. Foster has always been one of the best in his age bracket, and it really showed this season as he earned 2nd team all-league while been injured half of the season. Isaiah has very fluid hips and feet while showing off his ability to move in various drills. His acceleration to deceleration stands out; his stop and start speed is much needed as a double move defender. Foster ball skills are some of the best in the State, and I project he will be a 1st Team All-State DB next fall.
Ben Ireland Ben Ireland 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Findlay | 2022 OH – Findlay – 2022
6’0 180lbs
WR
Ben is a speed demon, and he has shown it in his film and at camp. His leadership traits really stood out as he offered assistance to athletes while waiting for the next reps. Those are little things that help make the team good, and he did it for random guys, kudos. Ireland has great ball skills and continuously works to develop great route integrity. If Ben continues to work the way he is this early in the offseason, then college coaches will be sliding in his DMs sooner than later. Watch for Ireland to be one of the better route runners in NWO in 2021.
