Prep Redzone Kansas has updated the player rankings for the Class of 2023

Here is a look at the five players who found their way at the top of the rankings. Some had big 2020 seasons and others are already getting offers from Division I programs.

RB, Dylan EdwardsDylanEdwards5'8" | RBDerby | 2023StateKS, 5’8”, 155, Derby (Ranked No. 1) – Edwards is an elusive and explosive running back. Comparisons are always fun and dangerous to make but think of a very young Darren Sproles, Barry Sanders, and Alvin Kumara. He can carry and catch the ball. He also loved finding the end zone. The Derby Panther rushed for 1,800-plus yards and had 25 rushing touchdowns in 2020.

RB, John RandleJohnRandle6'0" | RBWichita Heights | 2023StateKS, 6’0”, 170, Wichita Heights (Ranked No. 2) – Randle was ranked Number 1 when the preseason rankings were released. He had multiple Division I offers including schools from the Big 10 and Big 12.  Randle rushed for 1,009 yards and rushed for 10 touchdowns.
