Prep Redzone Kansas has updated the player rankings for the Class of 2023
Here is a look at the five players who found their way at the top of the rankings. Some had big 2020 seasons and others are already getting offers from Division I programs.
RB, Dylan EdwardsDylanEdwards5'8" | RBDerby | 2023StateKS, 5’8”, 155, Derby (Ranked No. 1) – Edwards is an elusive and explosive running back. Comparisons are always fun and dangerous to make but think of a very young Darren Sproles, Barry Sanders, and Alvin Kumara. He can carry and catch the ball. He also loved finding the end zone. The Derby Panther rushed for 1,800-plus yards and had 25 rushing touchdowns in 2020.

He had multiple Division I offers including schools from the Big 10 and Big 12. Randle rushed for 1,009 yards and rushed for 10 touchdowns.

He is a dual threat quarterback with a big arm. He finished his sophomore season with 2,109 yards pass and 25 touchdowns through the air. Johnson also rushed for 10 touchdowns and has college offers from two Big 12 schools.

The question in Fair’s recruitment will be where he plays and had what position because he will be a college athlete. He can play quarterback, running back, or wideout. He will be a leader for Wichita Collegiate for two more seasons and how far he takes the Falcons in the postseason the next two seasons will play a large role in his recruitment.
