TyThornton 6’4 180 Indian Hill-  Ty Thornton is a dual threat QB who’s looking to breakout onto the D1 recruiting scene after a big junior season.  Ty helped  lead the Braves to a 7-1 record and a second round game in the OHSAA playoffs.  While accounting for an impressive 23 TD’s on the season (15 passing 8 rushing), those numbers would have been much gaudier had his offense not jumped out to huge leads in nearly every game causing Indian Hill to reign things in.  Thornton is an easy athlete who can make plays from both inside and outside of the pocket.  He’s especially comfortable rolling out and making throws on the run.  Ty has a live arm, with easy arm strength, and a nice deep ball.  His ability to use his athleticism to create is going to put extraordinary pressure on defensive coordinators at the college level.  For this reason I like Ty in a spread offense that is RPO heavy.  This offense will allow him to put both his run and pass abilities on display while stressing defenses.  The bloodlines are there with Thornton as well, father John was a
