House is at his best in a wide-open spread attack. He isn’t rattled against the rush and will slide up into the pocket, with his eyes downfield to make a multitude of throws. He shows overall good arm strength and has the ability to throw receivers open. He consistently looked off safeties on tape and threw vertical balls opposite of them. House understands coverages and shows the capability to work through his progression, regardless of the coverage on the backend. Only just a junior, but he has a very bright future ahead of him.
Noah Brannock Noah Brannock 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB Calvert Hall | 2023 State MD , 6’, 195, Calvert Hill, MD, SO
This is a poised pocket passer with clean footwork and impressive touch. Brannock throws the sideline comeback with authority and puts it only where his wideout can get it. He’s tough as they come and is willing to sit in the pocket and take a shot from an unblocked defender. When the pocket collapses, he can extend with his feet and can make something happen.
John Griffith John Griffith 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB St. Frances | 2022 State MD , 6’2, 205, St. Frances, MD, JR
Griffith already holds multiple Power-Five offers, and for a good reason. He is the signal-caller for a program that was expected to be contenders for a National Championship. On film, John is a strong thrower on the move and has some serious zip on his ball. Griffith is an exceptionally gifted intermediate thrower, hitting his wideouts in-stride throwing over the middle. Although not a runner first, Griffith can extend with his feet and pick up tough yards on the ground as a runner.
Chase Williams Chase Williams 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB St. Albans | 2022 State MD , 6’1, 200, St. Albans, MD, JR
Williams spent last season at Good Counsel and excelled in their pro-style attack as a sophomore. Last fall, he was fantastic off play-action and consistently dropped the ball right into his target’s breadbasket. He’s a talented timing thrower and can get the ball out quick to hit his wideouts as they’re coming out of their breaks. When on the move he squares his shoulders to his target and will put it right on their numbers. Oh yeah, I forgot he’s got an absolute cannon of an arm too.
Cam Edge, 6’3, 200, DeMatha, MD, SO
The best prospect on this list and a potential five-star recruit. Edge became the main man for DeMatha as just a freshman and was stellar. His timing and ball placement are second to none in the 2023 class. On film, he’s accurate on all three levels and has incredible instincts for someone his age. Edge understands different passing concepts and isn’t afraid to work through his progression to his check down. The athleticism, arm strength, and footwork make him an absolute juggernaut and one of the premier prospects in 2023.
Jayden Sauray Jayden Sauray 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB Wise | 2022 State MD , 6’, 200, Wise, MD, JR
As just a sophomore, Sauray had 2006 passing yards to go along with 41 total touchdowns. On film, he’s a true dual-threat who’s just as gifted as a passer as he is as a runner. He shows game-breaking speed to run away from defensive backs and the elusiveness of a wide receiver. Jayden has a compact release, and the ball jumps out of his hand. Jayden’s arm talent allows him to fit the ball into tight windows across the middle. To me, he has a very high ceiling and is just beginning to scratch the surface.
