The Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) offers a great brand of football in Northwest Ohio. Some of the key 21’ players included Prep Redzone top players Thomas Zsiros Thomas Zsiros 6'3" | 200 lbs | WR St John's Jesuit | 2021 State OH and Tae’Shaun Johnson Tae’Shaun Johnson 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Toledo Central Catholic | 2021 State OH , who will be attending D1 Colleges locally. Here are key 2022 WR’s returning in the TRAC.
Ben Ireland Ben Ireland 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Findlay | 2022 OH – Findlay
6’0 180lbs
Ireland is a 2x All-Conference WR who has become a nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators in the TRAC. Ben and the Trojans had a shortened season due to COVID-19, which limited them to only five games. In five games, Ireland racked up 29 catches for 400 yards and 5 TD’s to go along with it. Ireland is a true deep threat with his over the shoulder ball skills, and his blazing 4.4 forty speed also helps. Ben has the potential of breaking multiple school records if a full season can be restored in 2021. Ben has D1 talent and speed with plenty of room to get better.
Charles Green – St. Francis de Sales
6’4 185lbs
Charles Green is one of the most talented players that coaches don’t know about yet. Charles has the ability to make freakish plays with his length and ball skills. His ability to catch a football is apparent as he hardly drops passes. The St. Francis de Sales offensive attack will have a real 1-2 punch with Steven McCoy leading the rushing attack and Charles to balance it out in the air raid. Expect to see a more physical Green in 2021, which may really grab the coach’s attention as he looks to gain 10lbs of muscle.
Cecil Benton Jr – Lima Senior
5’9 160lbs
Cecil is a pure playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. The Lima Senior football team struggle during the short season under the new head coach and Alum Alphonso Townsend, but that didn’t stop Cecil from gaining attention. Benton Jr has played a bevy of positions for the Spartans and uses his speed and quickness to his advantage as he is ever so deceptive in his next step. Cecil will have to spend this offseason working on getting more muscle while retaining his burst.
