With 150+ participants from four different states, over two dozen college coaching staffs, and five PrepRedzone scouts, there was a lot of talent as well as eyes on the Astroturf of the Wisconsin Dells Center Dome. I am very excited to be publishing my first ever PrepRedzoneWI report detailing performances from OUR OWN camp here in this article, and we’ll begin by focusing on the standout lineman from this past Monday’s opening session involving the big-boys in the trenches of the offensive and defensive lines. These dudes came ready to compete, and at the end of the 1-on-1 session I saw quite a few bloody knees and bruised faces from a night of contact and physicality. We had a great group of OL and DL that brought size, strength, talent, and versatility, and throughout the night many lineman caught my eye during the testing and/or competitive portions of the Showcase. Find out who made my Session 1 standout list below, and thanks for reading.
Bib #2: Tyson Beck (Homewood-Flossmoor, IL) DL. 6’3, 220 lbs. C/o 2023. One of our Illinois representatives came in the form of sophomore DE from the illustrious Homewood-Flossmoor High School. First off, love the fact that he drove from the Chicago area for the event, and I think it proves this kid has a love of football, a lot to compete, and is serious about playing football at the next level. Not only that, he’s a really well put together sophomore who I think would have had a breakout year in Illinois if the state had decided to play football. He’s long, quick in his get-off, and showed some nice bend and hand usage as a speed-rusher off the edge. He went hard every single rep and in my mind has a really high ceiling as a college DL prospect.
Bib #5: Luke Dalton Luke Dalton 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Marian Central Catholic | 2022 State IL (Marian Central Catholic) OL. 6’5, 300 lbs. C/o 2022. A late addition to our signups who we were absolutely PUMPED to have come compete was Illinois’ Marian Central Catholic junior OT Luke Dalton Luke Dalton 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Marian Central Catholic | 2022 State IL . I got to see this kid compete in our PrepRedzoneIL Showcase earlier this Fall and he was a consensus OL Top Performer from the almost double-digit scouts we had in attendance from four different media outlets. Well, not much changed from his Illinois performance to his Wisconsin one, and he once again proved he’s a surefire FBS prospect in our eyes and in my opinion was the best offensive lineman at the entire event. No one could match his aggressiveness and focus, and combined with his more than impressive strength and initial punch, he was a tough matchup for every defensive lineman he went against. You can tell he wants to compete and has worked hard at his craft, and his pass-pro set and technique were very refined already. He keeps a strong base with good weight distribution and is patient in his drop and disciplined in his eyes, his hip closed, and his weight on his post-foot. He’s a fun one to watch block, and attempts to finish every rep he gets by driving the defender into the ground. He’s everything you’d want in a Division 1 OL prospect, and with him already holding Bowling Green State and Indiana State offers I think it’s a good bet that more scholarship offers are on the way.

Bib #7: Jack Dotzler Jack Dotzler 6'7" | 265 lbs | OL Waunakee | 2022 State WI (Waunakee) OT. 6’7, 267 lbs. C/o 2022. Another potential OL MVP came out of big Jack Dotzler Jack Dotzler 6'7" | 265 lbs | OL Waunakee | 2022 State WI from Waunakee High School. He’s easily got the coveted Division 1 frame that so many college programs are looking for in their offensive tackles, and carried his almost 270 pounds really well to the point that he almost looked skinny, and it was clear that he still has a lot of room to grow on his frame. He didn’t play like a young buck however, and I really liked his toughness and physicality, especially in-regards to his initial punch. He had some power packed into those long arms, and used them efficiently at the snap of the ball as well as throughout the rep. Dotzler also possessed some quick feet and a strong pass-set, and went hard every rep and played through the whistle. When the Showcase was finished, you could tell his face and body experienced some contact, and overall I thought he was just a really tough kid and a good competitor. I think he’s got the makings of an FBS OT prospect, especially given the state of Wisconsin’s tradition of successful collegiate Olineman.
Bib #11: Trevor Fiecko Trevor Fiecko 6'5" | 310 lbs | OL Roncalli | 2021 State WI (Roncalli Catholic) OL. 6’5, 300 lbs. C/o 2021. Coming into the Showcase the Roncalli lineman was criminally under-recruited with no reported offers on his Twitter until a visit to UW-Whitewater led to a roster spot a day before the Showcase. Things have heated up since the event, as he’s received a PWO from Central Arkansas and a scholarship offer from Southwest Minnesota State, and I wouldn’t be surprised if more scholarships rolled in before things are all said and done. With great size to potentially play tackle or guard at the next level, Fiecko showed up a strong base and a really powerful punch, and he tested well for a man of his size. There’s tremendous upside in the 300 lber. and there was a lot of hype surrounding his performance from the college coaches in attendance.
Bib #13: Rames Frisch (DC Everest) OL. 6’1, 280 lbs. C/o 2021. I gave Frisch a shoutout at the event after watching him take several impressive reps against a strong DL position group to start off the 1-on-1 portion of the Showcase. He was a kid I had my eye on coming into the event, as I thought he was somewhat under-recruited and would be a tremendous DIII or potentially DII offensive lineman. With a fantastic mullet, active hands, and quick feet he was able to hold off both speed moves as well as bull-rushes from the DL and was a tough competitor every rep he took and was very hard for defensive lineman to get off them. He’s taken a few WIAC visits since the Showcase and I think he’d make for a big-time OL signing in the conference.

Bib #18: Curtis Jaskulke Curtis Jaskulke 6'3" | 215 lbs | DL Stoughton | 2021 State WI (Stoughton) DL. 6’3, 210 lbs. C/o 2021. One of the biggest surprises of the entire first Session was the performance of the long and refined pass-rusher Curtis Jaskulke Curtis Jaskulke 6'3" | 215 lbs | DL Stoughton | 2021 State WI from Stoughton High School. I can’t lie, he wasn’t on my radar coming into last week, but holy moly he made me pay for it after his individual effort during 1-on-1s. First off, he didn’t shy away from any competition or any offensive lineman at the event, and routinely cut his teeth against the top tackles at the Showcase with impressive results. There was a ton to like, as Jaskulke holds a great frame and has some good build on him for 210 lbs., and his length for the DE position is outstanding as he uses a really effective stab to set up a variety of pass-rush moves and counters that in my eyes made him the most polished defensive end at the event. He was fun to watch and his best football days are still in front of him. DII’s should be blowing up his line.
Bib #22: John McFadden John McFadden 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Cedarburg | 2021 State WI (Cedarburg) DL. 6’3, 260 lbs. C/o 2021. Carries great size at 6’3, 260 lbs. and could play OL or DL in college. The Cedarburg Bulldog hammer was a violent and impressively strong defensive lineman who had a ton of twitch for his size and had really active hands that he used to pair together to defeat OL with both speed and power. He’d be an excellent 3T in college and schools really need to hurry up to get a chance to get their names in the mix for his services.
Bib #27: Martell Owens (La Crosse Logan) DL. 6’2, 270 lbs. C/o 2022. I was very hyped to see the skill-set of the two-way standout Owens in-person last Monday, and he lived up to the hype and then some as he showed a huge amount of explosive ability for a man of his size and had a tremendous get-off. He was more than a handful for opposing OL and could beat blocks with speed or power and packed a crazy amount of pop in his hands. He was a relentless competitor as well and finished his rep every time. He’s a D1 prospect as a DL in my eyes.
Bib #29: Alexander Perelshtein (Homestead) DL. 5’11, 230 lbs. C/o 2022. Another athlete who I gave a shoutout to during the first Session on Twitter, Perelshtein was one of the best built kids there, and carried a stout and powerful frame at 5’11, 230 lbs with an impressive upper-body and the lower-body strength to match. He used his frame and his strength effectively as well, with impressive technique as well as successful and powerful strikes with his hands to disengage from blockers. He had a lot of Twitch as well and had the ability to defeat blocking attempts with quickness to a gap as well, and I was really impressed to see him taking reps at the 3T and outside as a 5T defensive end. He was taking a ton of reps too, and despite the amount of energy he was exerting he was barely breaking a sweat and it was obvious the conditioning was there. There’s a ton to like, and after talking to him after the Showcase ended I learned he placed 6th in the state Wisconsin last season at 220 lbs. in his Division, which explains his exceptional use of leverage and hand placement. I really hope college coaches aren’t scared off by the height, he makes up for it in many other ways.
Bib #31: Trenton Riekkoff Trenton Riekkoff 6'1" | 275 lbs | OL Kewaskum | 2021 State WI (Kewaskum) DL. 6’1, 275 lbs. C/o 2021. Tested really well during our opening portion of the Showcase and held a strong and powerful anchor. Moved really well on his feet and is a great athlete for his size.
Bib #32: Paris Roby (Kenosha Bradford) DL. 6’3, 300 lbs. C/o 2022. Earned a shoutout from me on Twitter due to the sheer violence and power he played with during our 1-on-1 portion of the Showcase. At 300 lbs. he can seriously move, and I mean laterally as well as North-South. He’s a tremendous athlete for his size and fires off of the ball with a rare amount of force for a kid of his size. He could strong together pass-rush moves as well, and did a great job of playing the offensive lineman’s hands and countering to their pass-sets, hand-strikes, and how much depth they get in their drop. All around he is a D1 talent on either the offensive of defensive line, and was a fun to watch from start to finish. Thanks for coming, Paris.
Bib #37: Ilijah Taylor-Jordan (Shorewood) DL. 6’, 290 lbs. C/o 2021. Tested really well and was a really quick and aggressive defensive lineman for his size.
Bib #39: Michael Vorlander (Madison West) OL. 5’11, 200 lbs. C/o 2021. As one of the more undersized offensive lineman at the event I was really impressed to see how he competed and how much strength he had in his 200 lb. frame. He was tough, technically sound, and had a ton of grit all day. It was fun to watch him ball and a DIII should absolutely hit him up.
Bib #42: Alex Winters (DeForest) DL. 6’3, 210 lbs. C/o 2022. Another long and fluid DE prospect who showed up a nice skill-set at his size, especially as a junior. He has a good frame already, an explosive and quick get-off, and loose hips that help him get a nice bend around the edge. Big upside in the junior DE.
